I know it's discussed before, but I think it's the time for us to do the final push, no more experiements.

    The reasons:

1 alston should not play 35+ minutes
2 head cannot play pg, at least for this season
3 snyder and wells should get more PT

    first Q, starters: alston/tmac/battier/hayes/yao
    second Q, tmac's crew: tmac/head or snyder/wells/howard/deke
    third Q, starters, and then yao's crew: alston/snyder or wells/battier/hayes or howard/yao
closing game: tmac/yao/battier, mix with alston/howard/hayes/wells/snyder/head depends on game situation

tmac does not have to play all pg duties, but he has to be the playmaker when alston is not on the court. tmac's crew can also go small like tmac/head/snyder/battier or wells/hayes or howard

    what do you think?

We already do this. But Head brings it up the court, thats the only difference. Sometimes Tmac brings it up the court too, but no way in hell does he bring it up the whole time Alston is gone.

Wells post-up game might not be a good match with Yao.

So, are you proposing that McGrady play 48 minutes?

How about let McGrady coach the offense and JVG play backup pg? I think JVG understands how his defensive system works, and he'll never take bad shots. How wonderful is that!

I think what needs to happen is that Jeff needs to swallow his pride and let V-Span warm up into a backup position. Let him play 10 minutes a game, with Lucas for 5-10, and Alston/T-Mac playing the rest.

V-Span seems like a dick, but we could use him.

read please, when yao's crew play in the third and beginning of the fourth q, that's the time tmac rests.

tmac's time will remain the same, instead of playing 38 minutes of sg, he should play 25 minutes of sg, 13 minutes of pg when alston sits.

basically, i am suggesting swap head's pg time with synder/wells sg time.

TMac IS the playmaker when he is on the court. The only time he is not the playmaker is when he is sitting on the bench for 10 minutes a game. During those times, we DO NOT HAVE a playmaker on the floor. All we got is a bunch of shooters and a couple post up options in Yao and Bonzi.

...Hell, why not play T-Mac 10-15 mins a night a PG I suppose. No one else can get it done when Rafer sits down. I like Luther's game but his passing is terrible and he can't really run an offense well, V-Span and JLIII are really players that aren't gonna contribute much more this year, and so... why not Tracy?

I'm sure he's probably the second best PG option we have if Rafers on the bench, he's pretty much the playmaker as it is. Let's just move him to PG officially when Skip sits down and rid ourselves of Luther's inefficient offense running and bad passing, V-Span's inconsistancy and inexperience, and JLIIIs... sugar spin? Whatever it is JLIII does. *shrug*

Either way, Rafer and T-Mac probably shouldn't be on the bench more than 1-2 minutes at a time together. Without Rafer or T-Mac we have no one who can be a playmaker and run the offense and make those passes we need made.

T-Mac brings the ball up the last 2-3 minutes of the game and creates (for himself, for Yao, for others). That's the only time I would want to see him play PG.
