I just wanted to share my amazing experience at the Rockets/Grizzlies game last night. I had the super nose-bleed tickets for the game, but we got there early to get our T-Mac bobbleheads. Until 6:30 they let us go down by the court to watch the players practice. While we are down there, this cutie blonde that works for the Rockets asked if my wife wanted to be part of a contest they will have after the first quarter. She said sure, but our seats are way up at the top. She then tells us that since we will participate, we can have front row seats ! While waiting for the game, we met and got autographs from Cynthia Cooper & Van Chancellor (Who was throwing everybody in the crowd some jolly rancher candy....?). The same blonde girl then tells me to come to the floor & she gives me a shirt that says "High Five Club" on it & tells me to put it on. When the Rockets did the starting line-ups I got to high five each of them while standing with Mo T & Juwan Howard (who was a very nice guy). At this point I felt that I must be dreaming. The seats were great, the game was really good & I also caught a shirt from Clutch the Bear & got on the "Flex Cam" on the big screen. Was even on TV once. If I could have scored with one of the Power dancers it would have been a perfect night ;) This was the best $10 seats I ever bought! Just hope T-Mac isn't hurt too bad.....

I go there extremely early every game just to watch them practice and take pictures of the players up close. But this year, these damn rocket workers won't let me just sit and watch practice up close. How did you get down there?

No, I wasn't the guy that got thrown out for stripping, but that was hilarious. The pictures came out really crap quality since we used a camera phone, but I will try to post a few.

Wow Chuck 4, I'm jealous! Can you always go down to the court if you're early? I'm gonna try that out next time.

I was at the game and it was alot of fun. I liked the red white and blue balls race around the stadium. Right when they started the race, one of the balls nailed some poor guy walking up the stairs in the side of the head! heheheh. :D

I was hoping someone would knock a ball into the memphis bench like someone here said happened before, but no, not this time.

One of the balls bonked a RPD in the face when they started going around the North side I think. And that poor kid right when the race started got smacked hard.

They should throw one of the balls in the upper deck. It's almost as if we're the redheaded step children up there. Screw that, next time I get tickets I'm moving down.

I didn't really want to. I liked the seats...but the people up there were boring. I ALWAYS move down at every game I go to (Texans/Astros/Rockets) but I didn't for some reason. Meh, next time.

about the pics from last night, they are bitmap & it wont let me post them. They are so blurry anyways. Power Dancers were dancing right in front of me....it was great. The wife even agreed

Sounds great Chuck 4. I've noticed that my experiences at Toyota Center have been exponentially better than my Compaq Center ones, even though I admit that I didn't have too many of those. However, outside of ending up blowing a bunch of money, I had a blast every single time at the Toyota Center (with the exception of the idiotic people behind one of the counters last year).
