    We've seen the Rockets logo.

We've seen the Powerdancers uniforms we are encouraged to vote on.

What about Turbo? If there is anyone in need of a makeover in the Rockets organization it is Turbo. The Spandex, blue gym shorts and Oakleys must go.

Can you clue us in with what might be going on with him these days?

A gigantic teddy bear in clown pajamas isn't the most intimidating of mascots. Or is that Clutch?

Whatever, just lose the teddy bear and keep the guy that dunks on the trampoline. :)

Dude what the hell is the matter with ya? The teddy bear (Clutch) is not meant to be intimidating anyways (ummm...I can't think of any intimidating mascots). He is perfect at what he does. His job is to be funny and he is one of the funniest mascots I have ever seen.

Dont get rid of him Tim!

    Heh heh....

Never understood what a "bear" has to do with Rockets?

    But, oh well...

At least Clutch the Bear gets a new uniform. He looks like a giant geographical globe, right now.

    :D

The cougar's name is Rocky. As in a mountain lion, hence Colorado Rockies.

Nothing. Just like the bear. Nothing. The "Go-Rilla" is like a "rally-monkey."

But, are you are suggesting that mascots should not be in anyway related to their teams?

The only reason they brought in a bear was "for the kids" because the Space Man (with Bubble head) was scaring them. It was a band-aid remedy. Hey, "Lets get a cute bear!"

Anyways, like I said before. At least Clutch will have a new uniform and he's funny.

The "White guy in overalls" was an OILER.

A guy that worked on oil rigs/fields...

I think Turbo could be remade into a vampire quite easily. I'm not sure how to bring Clutch into line with the new logo.

The bear is for the kids. My nephew who I brought to about 4 games last years likes Clutch more than he likes Yao Ming.

On the 4th of July I was at this party and there was this guy there who was actin real crazy and kept strippin down to this tiny little American Flag G String thing

it was pretty scary - the guy was not in such great shape

big party animal guy - kept leaping off into the pool and yellin out "HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!!" and drawin all kinds of attention to himself

anyways there were some people there that were telling my friends and me that he was Clutch the Bear - I have no idea if it's true or not - but they seemed pretty genuine

never saw him bust out with any silly string or anything like that

Last time we went to game, my wife said "How can we sit down there?" indicating the floor seats. I said "they are probably corporate season tickets. Why you wanna be close to the action on the floor?" She said "Hell No. I wanna play with Clutch the Bear!"
