Yeah, he's been playing possum the whole year, I hope they come back because they're the only team that can beat the Heat since Detroit is wack now a days.

And Dallas is still poised to win the game and take the series.

That just tells you how great this Dallas team really is. Duncan can get his 40 and still cannot win a game for his team. He has to be considered as a p***y based on certain criteria set by league players and media clown.

Dallas will win this game. The Spurs have played almost perfectly so far and they STILL don't have a lead...not to mention playing on their homecourt.

Dallas has proven just how deep and talented they are in this series, the Spurs have been unable of to grab a comfortable lead over Dallas at ANY point in this series.

Dallas has proven this year that they're the best and most consistent team in the league. I don't think that there is another team in the league this season that has played the same way and with the same energy-level almost every time out. Their consistency has payed off.

The problem with the Spurs is Ginobilli and Horry. Big shot Bob is running out of gas and Manu is a shadow of himself. If either or both of these guys were playing up to snuff the Spurs would be up 3-1 and looking to close out the series today. The Mavs deserve some credit too, though I don't want to admit it.

God I hate the mavs it jus pains me so much to know that they are up 3-1 in the series...if they win this series and Detriot loses to the cavs I just dont see any team out there that can beat the mavs...so i just hope the Pistons can come back and make it to the finals just to have the luxury of the mavs having to play them. (That is if the Mavs advance all the way to the finals)

The Spurs' defense has gone to hell in this series, that's why they're losing.

As for having any preference, I really don't care much as to who wins the series, but I think it would be good for the league if someone besides the 'usual' (i.e. Spurs and Pistons) can make it to the Finals. I think a Heat vs. Mavs finals matchup would ignite some interest among casual fans who really don't care much to tune in and watch the Spurs win another title.

The Spurs are absolutely the most boring team on earth. Very good, yes, but absolutely boring and have very little character/flair to them, which makes them a marketing nightmare for the league.

I think the league would be ecstatic about Dallas beating out the Spurs, and having the marketing power of Shaq/Wade in the finals would be a welcome change.

In the second half of the regular season, Yao DID outplayed Duncan. Duncan had way better teammates, but individually speaking, Yao was better.

If use your logic, you can also laugh at people saying Gilbert Arenas is better than Devin Harris. Since Arenas isn't playing right now and Harris is, then Harris must be better than Arenas, right?

Suns fans on the Pheonix boards say Boris Diaw is the best center in the league. Clippers fans on their board say Elton Brand is the best big man in NBA. Lakers fans on Lakersground say Kobe is the best thing since sliced bread but the Wizards fans on their fan sites say Gilbert Arenas is the better player. Cavs fans on the Cleveland Live Forum say Lebron James is already one of the top five players in NBA history.

This board is not for you if your stomach turns when you see Rockets fans say Yao is better than Tim Duncan.

Based on your past posts about Yao, I won't be surprised at all if it really does. :)

if the cavs beat the pistons i think its pretty safe to say that no one really knows who can beat who anymore.

i may be wrong but i think there might be slightly more parity in the NBA these days, not unlike the NFL also.

The regular season doesn't mean squat.

the truth of the matter is

Tim Duncan > your favorite player.

As far as the post-season is concerned, Duncan has been the best big man in the league for a few years running now, what he's doing is nothing new. Everyone knows that he cruises through the season (and they still won 63 games), but come playoff time -- injury or not -- he's on.
