Tm Appreciation Thread *Ya, sorry Tim* Tim, I just wanted to thank you for your direct feedback with the clutchfans board and the work you've done to make the Rockets games more enjoyable. You've improved: -The logo and jerseys number one. Huge improvement, and absolutely love them more and more as we win -The Rockets intro. The drummers trying to stir the crowd was getting negative feedback with the board, and you made a change. I abolsutely *love* the rocket intro. Great job. -The Rockets commercials. The old ones used to be too cheesy for my liking, but the latest ones (Cat/Yao @Grocery store, Cato/Mo/Wilks bowling) have been great. With all the excitement around the Rocket's success and playoff status, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you. The past two Rocket games I've been to have been great.
Tim is the man, my fav. poster by far........jus for future reference the polaroid suite is my fav......but i'm not picky..... keep up the good work Tim.
Its very cool that Tiim reads and posts here. But, even more, that he responds to our suggestions, and makes changes. Thanks, Tim.
I just realized that this post might come across as sarcastic. Not at all the intent. (although i do think it would be hysterical if the GM award went to our very own VP of Marketing. An "Executive" doesn't have to be a GM, does it?) Tim, I'm consistently astonished at how much time and attention you contribute to this board. Posting to the fans at three in the morning! The fact that you post is terrific. But it's more than that: your posts are candid, smart, funny, and free of the usual dry customer service rhetoric. Outside of Van Gundy, most players, and the Power Dancers, you're now my favorite part of the Rockets organization.
Very flattering, but this has got to be on the list for Silliest Threads of All Time. We have a great, hard working group over here that has made tremendous strides and that I'm very proud to be a part of. Any credit should go to the whole team, not just one person. But I'm very happy that there seems to be a positive response to what we've accomplished. More is yet to come. Tim
Yes..the Rockets have progressed very nicely...I have fallen in love with the Rockets and the Toyota Center! It's so fun! I feel like everyone is part of a big family...even though we are not! I wish I could go to every game..thank you! Very good job.
Longtime lurker and first time poster here, and I too would like to give thanks to the entire Rockets marketing team. I attended my first game at the Toyota Center on Saturday, and it was one of the best game experiences I've had in the many years of attending. Keep up the great work!
I want to give props to Tim and the Rox too. I was a harsh critic last year and earlier this year. But they have stepped it up. The new intro, the family nights, the unis, etc. Everything has made the game exprience and the general feeling about the Rox better. A co-worker of mine went to a game recently. Took her family as part of Family Night. She came back so happy and reported she had a great time. She hadn't been to a game since Compaq Center. If there is more to come, I am sure it will do nothing but add the to game experience in a positive light.
