Is it just me or are there other people out there who put a deposit down for tickets and still are not able to buy them? I keep getting excuses like, We are taking care of season ticket holders first, we just moved into the new arena, and our phone system in not working. Maybe I am a little impatient, but I don't want to be picking seats out the day be for the season starts.
just have some patients, youll get your tickets... just be patient... trust me you are lucky... at least you can get tickets... im not able to afford them... so i have to be behind the tv set
I'm going to miss the first one since I'll be at the game, but the others should be fun. Will the Woo's, Boo's, Roo's, and Voo's be back? What about the Moo's?
YAYY... well at least i have been invited... dont worry for those who hate the piggy.. ill just be like watching yall chat so i won't say anything stupid...
Patients are buying Rocket tickets for their doctors? This city is headed for a disaster of biblical proportion. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, patients buying Rocket tickets for their doctors, mass hysteria!
Try to remember that the Rockets are dealing with a large number of ticket-related issues: 1. They have to move people from their seats at Compaq to comperable seats in the new building - not an easy task. 2. They have a completely new ticketing department now that Ticketmaster has been ditched. 3. They have an entirely new internal ticketing system complete with bugs and errors and the usual when you switch to something so new. 4. They now have to consider concerts, the Aeros, ice skating, the circus, WWE and many other events meaning planning, scheduling and ticket sales. Just give them some time. There are going to be problems the first time around but they'll smooth out over time.
What kind of tickets are you trying to buy? I got a 12-game package by just calling the number... Must be for season tickets on the lower bowl I am guessing. Hope it works out for you.
If you're having any issues at all, e-mail me your information -- this came up a while back in a thread, and the three people who responded got taken care of very quickly. If you want to buy, we want to sell -- just send over the information and we'll get you taken care of. Tim McDougall Vice President of Marketing Houston Rockets and Comets timm@rocketball.com
Well thats funny that people here are still not able to get there tickets. When I went to the Toyota Center yesterday and on an impulse buy I bought some cheap 396 season tickets right their on the spot have my seat and everything.
I havent had a problem either. I called 713-627-DUNK gave my acct. representative my credit card information and got my half season tickets no problem.
The Rockets finally made good on getting my tickets and DC Baller took care of me. I only wished that they would have done what they said they were going to do. They stated from the start that deposits would be taken and a first come first serve system was going to be used to sell tickets. It didn't happen. If I would have known that I didn't need to throw down a deposit of$500 bucks for tickets, I would have just called in like everyone else.
I actually got an unsolicited call from the Rockets' ticket people. They must have had my number from something I filled out at a game - I have never bought tickets from them before. I bought a 6 game mini package, and added the first preseason game, and the two Lakers games. I bought the Yao big man package, which includes the first regular season game at Toyota. They called me back the next day and confirmed my purchase. I was very pleased with the whole transaction.
