[Thread] Whose Working Today? I am here. This place is a ghost town. Only 1 of the five elevators is working. None of the escalators are on. Many of the lights in the skywalk are off. Mail room - closed. Cafateria - closed. Both convenience stores - closed. Credit Union - closed. Copy center - closed. Starbucks kiosk - closed. Barber shop - closed. My boss is balancing his checkbook. Guy in cube next to me is reading a book. Girl next to him is talking to her family on the phone. I'm about to start on my homework. We will hopefully be out of here by noon. Why don't they just make the Friday after Thanksgiving a holiday? Is it because the market can't be closed for more than 4 days in a row?
Been there done that, This is the first year in a while being off the day after Thanksgiving. I usually read a book. You still at AIG?
have too much to do to not get some work done today. but it will be an early day. parking garage in my office is nearly empty.
Working today. I expect it to be pretty slow though, most of the people will be at home or at stores offering black friday specials. Plus the weather sucks. Another run out the clock situation...
Got here at 6:45 and lost power at 8, we got in back on an hour later. I hope to be out of here by 2.
We're out of here at 11. Happy to be leaving, but sheesh....why did I even bother coming in today for 3 hours? Yall have a great football weekend. I'm out!
I am at work ... @ Chase Tower So lets see. The garage where I park was closed. All doors to the building closed. I had to get security to let me in and then I had to sign in to get to the elevator. It does not look like there are many people here.
here i am working the office is pretty dead and guess what I get to work late tonight too because we are closing out the month!! AWESOME! good thing i loaded up my iphone with episodes of the wire to help pass the time
