This Year's Chant?

    The Rockets home crowd, IMO, needs a spiffy new team chant for the upcoming year. The Spurs do a really imaginative “go, Spurs, go” and all the teams chant “defense” (for some reason no crowd yells “offense”). There are some creative wags on the board so who can suggest an appropriate, pithy chant like ...“rock’em Rockets?”

    I'll do that one too, but I was thinking more on the lines of a team chant.

    "Go Spurs Go" is about the gayest chant I've ever heard. I mean I know Spurs fans cant be that bright living in a ****ty city like San Antonio, but come on!


    As for the Rockets I like "Eddie Eddie Eddie", but I prefer "Cato you SUCK Donkey BALLS!"

    I think you may have missed the sarcasm regarding the Sours crowd chant. The donkey genital chant might be too complicated for 19,000 rabid Rocket fans.

    How about if one side of the stadium chants "Rock em" while the other side is stone silent. Then, immediately after, the silent side yells "Sock' em," while the first side remains silent. Repeat several times with increasing gusto. That might be a little stereo fun.

    PS: Add oil is Chinese phrase for "go", word of encouragement.
