I am shocked that the team would play like this... I have posted for keeping Francis, Cat, Yao and JJ in the past but right now I feel like blowing this whole team up and start over... No one on this team seriosly know what to do to win a game. They have been inconsistent for years and now I have had enough of this nonsense.. I mean what is the point of it all anymore...

I have been a Rockets fan ever since I started watching the NBA in the beginning of the 90s but I feel that it is over inside me... I feel so sad that this team has been going no where for years and will go no where with players who sometimes tries but just haven't got what it takes... First it was supposed to be Francis who would bring effort and athleticism but had too many unsolvable errors built in his play and then Yao ugh!! What a dissapointment he has been from day one.. I want players who show emotion, who fight hard, who step up but Yao is just a baby.. I can't root for a guy who feels sorry for himself instead of just playing ball or maybe I have got it all wrong and he is just not as talented as I thought.

If Steve makes the same mistakes over and over what about Yao then!!!! He doesn't block shots despite being huge!! He can't hold on to a rebound, he can't score if you just make the slightest contact with him when he shoots, he can't get position in the post, he can't get position for a rebound. He can't run. He is just an overall dissapointment...

Now before you call me a hater try to keep in mind I have never said anything negative about a Rockets player before and have always tried to keep the faith in this team but I have finally lost it I see no hope unless you blow up the whole team and start over.. I have no hope that these players will eventually win anything.. Keep Boki at least there is hope with him and trade away the rest while they still have some value...

Now start flaming It won't matter anyways since my love affair with the Rockets is over.. It was fun while it lasted but when there is no future to be seen then there should not be a present.

For the rest of you.. Keep supporting the team you are doing a great job..

Yes, I am *shocked* that a 7 seed would lose to a 2 seed.

Trade everyone. The sky is falling!

This is not controversial. It's just stupid.

Don't let the door hit your A@@ on the way out.

BTW. What, did you not get the memo that the Rockets where not good enough to beat the Lakers this season. Which Rock where you under?

And to say what you say about Yao being a baby. I guess you weren't watching all the games. Just the ones that Yao didn' do well in.

I do agreee that Yao was a mess this Game 5 and he didn't look good. But who else on the Rockets looked like good in the 3rd quarter?

But that's all right. I'm sure you will be back in a season or 2 when the Rockets grow up and contend.

You know, there was a timetable that I know you know. The Rockets need to get in the playoffs this year. They did. They need to do some damage. They did.

If you think this is it, then, so long.

Just to clarify things I am not basing this on the fact that we lost to the Lakers I am not stupid you know so you don't have to act smart...

I just don't see any hope with these players anymore... I tried to be blindly optimistic but deep down inside do you really all believe anymore??... If that is the case then more power to you...

Stop kicking a guy who lies down already...!!!

My sig was because I never understood the negativity surrounding this team before but it finally caught up to me I guess..

Perhaps I will be back in two years if the team has players worth rooting for... There is no other team I want to root for but right now it is impossible to watch this team go in circles..

fyi, I definitely feel your pain. I'm sure a lot people on the board do as well, though they probably didn't give up on the team entirely.

I just thought the irony of the sig was tasty is all.

But I'm sure you'll be back at the beginning of next season, esp if there is significant roster change in the offseason.

Well, rebuilding is not the answer...Rockets are about 2 players from contention....first, they are gonna need a Kobe stopper, or Ginobli stopper, or whomever stopper....and second, they need a good PF....

Those are the weaknesses they have, and IF they had gotten by the Lakers, those would have been more exposed by SA...The Spurs would have REALLY made the rockets look bad....Be thankful that we only had to play the Lakers....

Are you saying that Rockets should build around Boki?

A healthy dose of realism chased with pessimism once a weak during the season helps - but dude you have really gone off the edge - Boki as the core???

Calm down. You will be back and the Rockets will get better. I have been a Rockets fan since 1979 and waited all those years till they finally one a championship. Believe me I can wait another year. Yes, this team does need some changes but not to blow it up and rebuild. We don't know who will be back but they will be players that JVG can go to battle with.

it's not that they lost. it's how they lost. reverting to their old ways. i can deal with not being better than the team that beats you...that's fine. i can't deal with literally handing the ball over to the other team 20 some odd times. recurring mistakes...over and over and over and over and over again.

    This is controversial:
I vow not to post very frequently here until the draft, we make some offseason moves, and/or the start of next preseason.

In the meantime, rest assured the Rockets will win the championship on my NBA Live 2004.
