Yao will not be a bust why?

Because Yao is like Pau kind of.
See yao has a better shot thn pau. Better defense than pau. Better post moves than pau. Better rebounder than pau. To me the have the same quickness. Yao can jump higher than pau.

Pau had like 17pt 9reb as a rookie.

And that artical here said yao will make an immediate impact, so i think yao will put up elton brad type numbers with more blocks.

He will be roy and make the all star team.

We should have made the playoffs this year now we will be like the spurs when they got tim. Our star players were injured now we pick up a player(yao) like we are still rebuilding, yeah right we will only get better now. Unless the injury bug bites again.

I am with you on this one.

This is a good way to look at it.

    Ming is better than Pau.

I think that Yao will be alright with the rockets because he wont have to be the #1 scoring option. Put him next to a workhorse like Kenny Thomas or maybe a healthy Maurice Taylor and that will make his transition easier. Steve and Cuttino are going to do the bulk of the scoring anyway. My prediction is that he'll lead all rookies in blocked shots and next to Eddie Griffin they will from the top shot blocking duo in the league.
