Crash 5179, I may be irritating....but you are nothing short of BORING. My goodness, do you think any of us really give a crap about your 10 paragraph long topic on tonight's Rockets game. You spent about 5 paragraphs of it explaining your exciting scalping situation (how you screwed some guy on a cell phone and then was proud of the tickets you had). None of us give a #$%^ about you, we are here to talk about the Rockets game action and roster moves. Waltsucks: This BBS is a community of Rocket fans. We love the Rockets, but we also enjoy each other. Sometimes our opinions are on the opposite side of the spectrum, and we get mad at each other, but generally, respect is shown to one another. Its sortof like a family. BBS'ers go to games together, do fantasy leagues, and even write crazy poetry around here. Its part of what has made this a special place. Many of us have come here to check up on stuff for years, and love personal stories, like "I was walking in the mall, and I heard a guy on a cell phone, saying ..." You are new here, so maybe everyone won't gang up on you to have you banned for such personally offensive attacks on Crash, if you apologize. To Clutch, Sherlock and ZRB thanks for standing up for me. I probably owe an apology to waltsucks(I hate that name) for saying he irritates me but he said something in another thread (not directed at me) that really bugged me and made me think that he was a troll. I know I have spent a lot of time bashing the Wiz myself, but encouraging anyone to climb aboard a bandwagon bashing any player just seems out of line to me. I would much rather Rudy T either quit playing Walt or for Walt to find his jumper. Either would suit me fine. Maybe that seems a little hypocritical on my part. I don't know. Here is the origanal thread that pissed me off. It also seemed like a shot at the members of this board and kind of irritated me. Maybe I am just hypersensitive. You judge for yourself. Let us take a break from the Waltsucks bashathon. You all say that Clutch City is a user friendly area where we are not to be bashed, however if you look at who did the original bashing it was not me. Crash 5179 started it with his first reply in this post (something about me being irritating, etc.). I reply, in kind, to that slam and next thing I know is that a bunch of hypocrits are bashing me. In basketball terms he threw the first punch and I retaliated however I guess the refs must have been like the ones at last night's game and missed the call. I am not a bad guy, however when someone slams me you can expect a "not so friendly" reply back. That is human nature. I guess I get a bad rap for having the name Waltsucks and like many of you nothing would make me happier than seeing Walt turn into an All-Star. Unfortunately, we all know that is not going to happen and each game he plays a significant role in is one less win we have towards achieving our goal of making the playoffs. By the way......if Crash did his research he would see that I have been a member long before the SI article (my name last year was "itwasmichael" in reference to the Pippen acquisition). Waltsucks: I think you still need to learn the ettiquette on this BBS. I generally don't read threads started by Juniors. If I happen to read a Junior's reply in another thread, and that Junior says something intelligent, I might start noticing and reading threads started by said Junior. The reason is simply that I look for threads started by people that I know have someting good to say, so I won't waste my time reading junk. As it stands, the first thing I read by you was you bashing Crash for no reason. Most of us enjoy reading first-hand accounts of BBS'ers going to games, especially away games, so your reason for trashing him is completely lost on me. A Junior coming here and immediately starting to bash people (players, BBS members) just doesn't cut it. Say something intelligent and it will save you some trouble. waltsucks, if you want a better response from the people of this board then don't come on here challanging the people that are on this board daily. You clearly did that in a thread titled "I try not to do this". I have your exact post in my second post in this thread. That is the origanal thread that pissed me off. Many people on this board don't like Walt and believe that he is washed up, some are more optamistic. Get used to it. Tell me again why it is important to research how long you have been a member of this board? Your name say's waltsucks. Under that it say's junior member and under that (as of last nights post) it said 14 posts and under that it say's registered since Jan 2001. Thats all the research I plan to ever do on anyone on this board. If it is so important to you that people know how long you have been a member on this board then I suggest stop changing your UserName. So as far as I am concerned you are just plain waltsucks, junior member. You sound like a troll to me and I will no longer respond to any of your posts. This should make you happy. ------------------
Crash: I have been comming to this site since back when it was clutchcity .com. I don't post often, but the community here is one of the best on the net. I am asking that you chill just a bit. Make your truces and join in on the rockets discussion. Over half of your posts (I checked) are attacks or rebuttles, not the Rockets. Don't mean to offend. Shotcaller, Thank you for your support......I absolutely agree w/what you said about Crash. He continually attacks me and others and then claims to be a victim. Tuning in to the game at halftime Saturday night, I think Walt played like garbage in the 3rd and 4th quarter of the Dallas game. All we ask of him is to play average D and make some threes. He couldn't accomplish either in what I saw of him on Saturday night. Where's Langhi, lets give a different shooter a chance.
