[Movie} The Wicker Man Just saw this movie tonight and if you haven't seen it, you just have to. Wow, it was amazing. There were so many things about this movie that were just awesome. It hasn't aged at all and is shot beautifully. The acting was terrific, Edward Woodward and Christopher Lee are awesome in it. Britt Ekland is so freaking hot and her body was amazing. There is lots of nudity. The music added alot to the atmosphere, and the ending was one of the most chilling scenes i've ever seen. I highly recommend watching this movie. I heard Nicolas Cage is starring in an upcoming remake and I really expect that to suck compared to this original masterpiece.
I actually own this (I had to buy it, as none of the video stores carried it and Netflix was still a year away). It's not a bad flick but not quite as good as the hype it's received in some circles. However, for those who know little about it, I can recommend it as a good 3 star (out of 5) movie. For Raven: Plot Synopsis - A devoutly Christian cop travels to an isolated British island to investigate the disappearance of a local girl. The cop is repulsed by the paganism practiced by the island's residents, and suspects the girl's disappearance is linked to the upcoming Spring festivities. The less I say, the more you will enjoy the movie.
