Dan could be good 6th man for us because of his offence and he could creat some match problems for some teams.

But he'll problably never be a Dirk.

A player does not have to have "bulk" to be effective. Camby, Garnett, and others dont have bulk but are still effective. It just makes it a lot easier

I sincerely hope whoever it was that compared Langhi as being the next "Novitski" has never seen Dirk play. Dirk's infinitely more talented than Langhi will ever be. Dirk dominates, Langhi sits on the IR w/ bogus injuries.

Thats another reason why i didn't like the Rice trade. I thought with Langhi and Morris, this was the year the Rockets moved forward at that position. Adding atheleticism and floor game., but Rudy chose to bring in a old expensive player that will kill our cap because he has been in love with Rice and Williams forever. teams are constantly beating these guys, especially Rice, and most times our small forward is manned by a 6'4 guard who is at disadvantage at his own position. I remember watching Shareef go to the post last yr and score like everytime in the 4th qt on Walt. I remember seeing Peja just launching jumper over jumper over Cat, pretty much uncontested because of the height disadv. We need a player at that spot and Rice and Williams only slows the looking process.

Gadzurick plays at UCLA and Korleone Young was a #1 pick of Detroit (?) who is, I guess, playing overseas or in the NBDL.

Dan is the man. Keep him. Nurture him. Feed him. Play him... some.

How about Da Lanky instead of Damn Lanky; it sounds like we are condemning or rejecting him.

Langhi can't create his own shot.

Langhi can't hit the shots set up for him.

Langhi doesn't play good interior or perimeter D or block shots.

    Langhi cannot handle the ball

Langhi is not a good passer or have good court vision.

Langhi usually looks lost when he's on the floor.

Langhi's best game was in the 2000 summer league while being guarded by Harold Arceneaux, a chubby, 6'5" small forward who isn't playing in the NBA right now.

Langhi b****es to the press for not getting off the bench.

Langhi was SEC player of the year in 2000 over Stromille Swift, true. But Christian Laettner was NCAA player of the year over Shaq at one time. Who would you rather have on your team? Moreover, Swift got LSU to the regional finals of the 2000 NCAA tourney. Langhi got Vanderbilt to . . . nada - they didn't play in the 2000 NCAA touney.

Please explain how any of this merits comparisons of Langhi to Dirk Nowitzki, Peja Stojakavich, or even Terrence Morris?

Didn't Nowitzki look like a lost little boy his first couple of years in the NBA? Any stat hounds out there care to verify?

Well, I don't think he will ever be as good as Dirk or Peja, but if he got to Laettner's level, that would be nice... I don't think he is as bad as some describe him to be...perhaps he is just a slow starter. I looked at his college stats and I think it was a continuous improvement...they sucked the first two years and only then he started getting better. Perhaps it will be the same in the NBA.

    fully disagree
Langhi is a badass in sub-nba level like Summer Leagues, NBDL etc.
I don't think it's just lack of confidence. Yes he can shoot well. All his shots are swishes or airballs. He can't create a shot for himself however and I think Terence Morris can be much better
    We should just cut him

I don't know much about LAnghi but i'm intruiged by what most of the guys in this post are saying about him. But if he's so good, why is TMO getting most of the minutes Langhi should be getting??? Is TMO that much better than Langhi, judging by the shooting percentage i would say no. Does anyone know why it appears TMO is favored of Langhi???

Aside from defense, rebounding, shotblocking, passing, athleticism and court sense, I think Tmo's getting more minutes because Langhi's in the doghouse.
