Yao: If he's healthy he's the 2nd best center in the league plus he makes too much money for Le$ Alexander so he's not going anywhere. Scola: Never gets hurt, tough as nails, never complains, Class act, Good in the community ( scola like battier is the ultimate PRO ) Budinger: This guy has great potential, he can shoot, he can dunk and he is a better defender than anticipated. The rest of team and Draft Picks can be used in any combination to get CB4 or King James.
Kevin Martin is the most untouchable IMO, then Budinger. Why Martin? because he just got here and Morey has been trying to get him for years.
I don't think anyone is truly untouchable. As far as guys we are "very unlikely to part with" I'd put Yao, Lowry & Martin there. I'm not sure about Scola.

This is why Les will never win a championship again. If you make a guy untouchable for what he does off the court vs on court, how can you seriously compete with an owner like buss who only cares about rings. If jerry west ran this franchise, yao would be gone and he should be. No one on a mediocre team should be off limits.
After the most lopsided trade finally trumping the Pau Gasol trade when we recieve Adam Morrison, Shannon Brown, and Josh Powell plus cash and low first round picks for Yao Ming. Yeah right, Jerry West would have this team looking worse than the Grizzlies if he were running the show.
The only untouchable on this team is Adelman, love the guys but as long as we are the last men standing I don't care who is playing in Rox red and I think DMorey sees the same thing.
