As an unapologetic child of the 80's-90's, I'm finding out The ENTIRE 60's MUSIC ERA and back was underrated in almost ALL genres.

50's thru 70's has poured on heavy in our culture over the years and mocked over and over and not taken seriously. Now its gotten back to being underrated again.

They've been doing that on radio format for a few years now, or going that way. A lot of that stuff is definitely considered "classic", slowly transitioning to "oldies" maybe.

R&B from 90's and back is definitely "classic R&B". Guns & Roses is considered classic rock. Though as of now calling 70's music & back "oldies" is NOT a bad word and its period specific so it just might be its official designation all to itself. .
