    The Simpsons come to life

MAKERS of the hit cartoon The Simpsons have a filmed the show's opening titles using real actors.

In the hit viral going around the world we get to see what Bart, Homer, Marg, Lisa and Maggie would look like if they were humans.

And you can be among the first to watch the hilarious titles, filmed over 18 months in Britain, by clicking one of the links below.

    Windows Media Player
    Low Med High

The clip re-enacts the title sequence to a tee beginning with the camera zooming into a schoolroom to see a blonde Bart scribbling lines on the blackboard.

Simpson’s maker Matt Groening has approved the human version of the show’s opening credits to promote the brand new series.

They put Maggie on the wrong side of the car. Therefore, i give them an "F." Nice try, though.

That's kind of funny. The butt-crack in the garage was great.

It looked more like it was a commercial talking about watching the Simpsons. Not a show.

The car homer was driving had the steering wheel on the left side.

No excuses, they messed up. Still it was funny to see.

Another thing they messed up on is the radioactive stick not landing in Bart's arm and putting it in his pants. You guys missed that one.

When they say "brand new series" they mean season, I think. I'm pretty sure nobody who actually works on the Simpsons filmed that. I don't know why Sky One would need a slick commercial to promote the Simpsons, they are already popular as hell over there.

In Britain, they do indeed call a season a series.

I think it's meant to look more like "real people" with slight resemblances to the characters rather than exact duplicates. That way we can think they're real, rather than blue-haired Marge
