I saw the 11:58 showing at the Marquee (sp?) Center off I-10. It was the only one showing it in DLP (some sort of digital projection?) and it looked awesome. I suggest seeing it on this screen.

As far as the movie was concerned, the first 45-60 minutes were some of the funniest I've seen on the big screen. Then it kinda dropped off at the end, IMHO.

    Totally worth it.

I'm skeptical...the Simpsons haven't been good in a LONG time...and the trailers look horrible.

The first hour of the movie was awesome, the end was a drop off.

Still a great movie. You gotta watch it in DLP.

It had its moments but overall wasn't ha ha funny.

Simpsons fans have been waiting for a movie for sooo long, that was a pile of crap. It was so lame, Cletus was the star of the movie.

I think a storyline focusing on the Power Plant and Moe's, and starring Homer, Carl, Lenny, Barney, Moe, and Mr. Burns and Smithers would have been hilarious. Homer didn't get drunk one time in the movie

Things I hated in no particular order:

    1) Alaska
    2) Grampa's seizure (WTF did that have to do with anything?)
    3) Colin
    4) Storyline
    5) Bart and Flanders

I really enjoyed this movie. It had its moments and some touching scenes. What bugged me the most was Wolfcastle not in the movie as the president. Some shocking moments were pretty cool just because I didn't expect them at all.

I think the movie has really funny moments, but the constant slap stick humor grates on you in a long film. When you hear basically the same joke over and over, it becomes less and less funny, to the point of alright move on, I should leave.

The movie was funny at the beginning, though.

i was thinking that also....they shouldnt have had president reineer wolfcastle, or the head of the epa

they shouldve made burns the villain or even fat tony and the mob...

In typical comedic fashion, once the plot starts to come together, the movie gets lame.

I got a couple good chuckles though here and there.

I enjoyed it as it had a lot of good moments, but not consistent (have to agree with Smokey)...Definitely got lame as the movie wore on, but if you love the Simpsons show, you'll love the movie...

No. I'd only recommend it for people who have watched it at some point in their lives. I used to love it 8 years ago. Then I stopped. Haven't watched a show since at my own free will. But still saw the movie and liked it.

I thought it was decent, but it was no better than a typical "season finale" type two part episode.

But I still watch the Simpsons regularly on TV, so I guess after a while they can't do much to really mix things up.
