    Anybody else watch this show?

    Season 3 Premier is on Tuesday.

    i am just starting to watch it. I am still trying to figure the show out. who are the good guys and the bad guys?

    Well the bald guy, (The Commish you know), his name is Vic Mackey.

    He leads the Strike Team. They are basically a group of guys given a lot of leeway in the department.

    It is basically a drama between the Captain who has political aspirations, the Strike Team, the black lady who wants to be the next Captain, and Internal Affairs people trying to bust Mackey.

    Really good show.

    Bleh, are you kidding? Nomar's taste in TV shows (with the exception of Scrubs) is about as good as your taste in movies. :p

    from what i see so far Vic Mackey is a corrupt cop who is trying to do the right thing, I mean he takes bribes but he wont hesistate to bring down a scumbag criminal

    i love the shield. It ranks up there right behind "The Sopranos" and "24" for me.

    I'm a gigantic fan, I've got season 1 and 2 on DVD.

    I can't wait until Tuesday night, this is almost bigger than the Sopranos to me. :D

    Sorry to bring this thread back up but did anybody watch tonights episode. I cannot believe what they made Aceveda do. That was one of the most digusting things i've ever seen on tv. I think i'm gonna have nightmares about that

    Yeah, that was just downright disgusting. They are replaying the same episode right now. I hope Aceveda executes those bastards.

    No other series on TV even comes close to going as far as Shield does.

    Although 24 fans would have you think otherwise. :rolleyes:

    what about OZ? I think that show was more hardcore than the Shield. They show guys doing all kinds of disgusting ****

    Oz is on HBO, Shield is on regular cable on FX.
