Reviews for the movie have been MUCH better than I expected. Critics have liked it. Everyone that has seen the sneak previews has loved it. I'm looking forward to seeing it this weekend.

The previews I thought looked pretty lame but the critics are saying that it's a funny action/adventure movie. Kinda Indiana Jonesish. My guess is it will not be as good as Indiana Jones but still entertaining. Anybody remember a movie called Firewalker with Chuck Norris and Louis Gossit Jr?

What do you guys think of the new Ben Stiller movie Duplex? Does this look like a rip off of the Money Pit or what.

I remember a lot of people claiming that The Scorpion King was going to make The Rock a movie star...but I think that it is adventure/comedies that will have a bigger impact on his career...it appeals to a wider audience.

Just saw this tonight, not too bad at all. I am convinced that The Rock can act but I just didnt like the whole setting, in the jungle and everything. Loved the beginning, if the whole movie was him kicking people's ass in a big city, I wouldve liked it more. Id give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars.

The Bill Murray movie, Lost in Translation just moved to a wide release this weekend. I gotta see that along with The Rundown.

i couldn't believe when i saw this got 2 thumbs up. i can see ebert liking a movie like this, but ropert? i don't like ropert b/c he's the more high-brow of the two, and him liking a movie usually turns me off, but for him to like an action movie is pretty weird. maybe it really is good.
