Oh my lord. I just saw this movie .... BEST.MOVIE.EVER! Its almost exactly like Rushmore in the humor department, and its fun to watch. Very quirky, and a well written script. Im not sure how people that have never seen a Wes Anderson film will react, but I thought it was GREAT! For anyone who has seen it: Did you fall out of your chair laughing at the tennis scene or was that just at my theatre?! ................ Sooooo , Who else has gotten a chance to see it?

Good movie...saw it last night. Probably to "quirky" for some. I know someone who walked out 45 minutes into it. During our showing last night the bulb burned the film and we had a 10 minute wait in the middle of the movie. (Got a free pass out of it so it was worth the wait!)

Saw it yesterday....really enjoyed it. Sometimes questioned whether or not Owen Wilson's character, Eli, was perhaps just "thrown in" at the last minute, but otherwise, a very enjoyable movie. I'm sure that most people will find it a little too inaccessible, but that's okay....the movie industry will continue to pump out nice, neatly packaged, "think nothing of it" movies for them to enjoy.

since owen wilson co-wrote and poroduced it i doubt his character was just thrown in...he will always find a way to wear a cowboy hat on screen...

The fact that he co-wrote and produced it only gives validity to my question.
