Question: What are we working with?
We have too many forwards . . .so we have to fill out some other roster spots

Who on this team do you see as major part of the team for the next 5 years?

Is Parson's our SF of the future . .. or just SF of now?
    KLowry?
Is ASIK our center of the future?

Who on this squad would you say . . . ____ is our ____ of the Future?

I have made my peace with everything
    so
Tell me. . who should I be keeping an Eye On

Honestly, the only people that come to mind are Parsons and Lamb. Maybe White, but that's really stretching it.

Hopefully, Lowry, Martin, and Scola are our trades of the future for draft picks.

Seriously, the only thing I'm interested in this year, if this is indeed our gameday roster, is seeing how Asik, Lamb, White, and possibly Jones, develop. I was a little upset about the Jones pick, but after doing more research, a lot of people are high on the guy, so maybe there's something there.

to me, thats the most frustrating/depressing part of this whole thing. ok, so lets say its rebuilding time, here's what comes to mind:

    - why did we need asik again?
    - why do we need 8 forwards?
    - aside from llull (debatable) who is the pg going to be?
    - who has upside at all i.e. is going to be here for the long run?
    - what happens to scola/martin/lowry and the other veterans?

i mean, i dont care about dragic specifically, or dwight howard specifically, or big FA acquisitions or whatever. what i care about is that the team has a direction, and clearly right now it doesn't.

i have historically been a big supporter of morey, but i have to say that he just doesn't seem to be able to get it done. we keep hearing that he's trying, but at the end of the day there's nothing to show for it, so it doesn't really matter to the bottom line.

long story short, if the rockets are rebuilding the roster is a mess. if they aren't, the roster is a mess. that's not good. and it does fall on morey's shoulders to either fix it or pass the job on to someone who can do better.

I think we soft at Center and back up PG
If Lee does not come back . . .we have no SG of the future

This off season has been so crazy and such a fail...
There is nothing we can do now that would get us over the hump and into the playoffs.
So playing the youngs should be priority number 1. Full rebuild mode. Too many mistake and fails to point them all out. Smh

If we're in official rebuild mode...

Time to fire McHale. Morey as well, and then Les needs to sell his team to David Stern...maybe we can get the first pick of next year.

Plus Parsons and Camby, our core from last year are staying. Not bad at all.

If you add the numbers on their jersey's it adds up to 23

    The 23 enigma!
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/23_enigma

    23 = Jordan's number

    2 + 3 = 5....the number of players on a team.

    23.....forget it.

    :(

    Please Dwight...come to Houston, anyone!

I can no longer stand the mediocrity!

at C if we sign Camby and Asik we'll be fine. Hopefully Camby doesn't request too much.
PG and SG are both really soft even with the addition of Lin and lee. The best hope for our future is what we can get from Kmart and Lowry trades. my 2 cents

We are further into rebuilding than some people think.

Montiejunas is the C of the future. (he will grow in to it)
Jones is the PF of the future
White is the Point Forward of the future.
Lamb is the SG of the future.
Parsons is the Wing and defensive specialist of the future.

    * no real point guard
    * Jones may D on the other C

I for one am excited to watch the team this year for the first time since we had a healthy Yao. Can't wait to see how Lamb, White, Parsons and D-Mo develop (maybe Jones too). I think they will be our foundation and possibly one or two could develop into an occassional All-Star. Add that with a high draft pick next year (along with picks or whatever we get for Martin and Scola) and I think we will be looking at an improving team with a ton of potential!

Parsons is our new scapegoat of the Future
Lowry is our future first round pick of the Future
Lamb is our SG of the Future
White is our Fan Favorite of the Future
Dmo is our Cinderella story of the Future
Scola is our least favorite fan of the future ( because we will trade him and it seems like he doesn't want to go)
Jones is our D-League MVP of the Future
