    11/2, Rockets 98 - Kings 89, Kings shooting: 34-83, 41.0%
    11/10, Heat 88 - Rockets 84, Heat shooting: 32-76, 42.1%
    11/13, Celtics 102 - Rockets 82, Celtics shooting: 39-85, 45.9%
    11/15, Rockets 94 - T-Wolves 89, Wolves shooting: 30-71, 42.3%
    11/17, Spurs 86 - Rockets 80, Spurs shooting: 35-76, 46.1%

5 out 8 games Rockets allowed opponents shooting over 40%, not impressive by any stretch.

Wake up and smell the coffee!

BTW, how does you hand feel after you stuck a knife through it last night when DA started 2nd half?

I agree what you said about the mentallity but I don't think our gurard don't want to hit. I feel they are all want to it too much and lost their nromal heart.
I think its JVG, he makes players what I can say? do you remember SF said after the game we played Magic? I think that is the main reason cause these mental problem.

So JVG wake up , talk with everyone like last year you talk with Tmac.
Let players know what you really means.

Well, I don't know about that..
That Minnesota game. When Juwan entered, he put some pressure on Garnett. Before that, he scored at will on Stro. And that happened when mattered the most - in the fourth quarter.

I'm looking at three games there where the Rockets got the job done, defensively. 41% and 42% opp fg - anytime you get that, you have to be pleased with the way your defense played that night. If you rebound the ball and cut down on turnovers and dont' have a very poor shooting night, that should be enough to get the job done.

So for 6 games, the Rockets defense was not the problem. The Boston game was just one of those games. You won't see that happen again for awhile. The Spurs game, for the three quarters, the defense was poor. During the 4th quarter, their defensive intensity picked up, and it got them back in the game. A few more made freethrows and some crucial defensive rebounds and we win that game.

You know it's not easy to "playing like they have no tomorrow" when you have millinons in the bank. ;)
