No offense Durvasa, without looking at any stats, have you seen Randy Foye play. I'm not pushing for the rockets to take Foye, but just from watching him play this last season he looks like he will be one of the gems in this draft. This kid may be a tweener, but he has the whole package. He easily could be a 3rd option and he's tougher than a coffin nail. I would be very content on the rockets drafting him.
I'll be honest. I haven't seen him play that much. Just looking at the stats, reading the opinion of various scouts, and considering his physical profile, I have doubts he will be play at a high level in the NBA. Is he any better than, say, Mike James -- another undersized combo guard with great scoring ability, probably better perimeter shooting, and solid perimeter defense?
I personally think he will be way better than Mike James in the coming years. MJ had one fantanstic season last year in Toronto and would be a good fit on this current rocket team, but Foye brings you shooting, rebounding, defense and scoring in his early 20's. By the way Durvasa, I like your posts on all the stats you come up with. It gives everybody a diffrent perspective on players. Keep it up.
the big question with Foye is will he be Dwayne Wade or will he be Rashard McCants? obviously its too soon to call McCants a bust but that type of production so far isn't what we'd want
