The next 13 games will be a real test for the Rox. 8 of the 13 are on the road, and two of the home games are one night stands, the traveling equivalent of a road game. Nine of the 13 games are against teams that currently have better records than the Rox, the only team in the league that has a better record that we DON'T play is Miami. We play all of the top 5 Western conference teams. San Antonio twice. Washington twice. Indiana. Seattle. Phoenix. Sacramento. Dallas. Our "easy" games are Portland, Utah, Chicago and Golden State, the last two being road games. With the All Star Break in the middle. Good luck Rox.
Washington and Indiana: Beatable as long as we maintain our current level of play. Dallas and Sacramento: Close calls, but it's not completely out of the realm of possibility to win these games San Antonio: Even though we've beaten them twice, they're VERY good at the SBC center. Playing against them on the road is almost a guaranteed loss. Phoenix: Realistically, unless Nash goes down again, I don't think we can win. Seattle: They've had our number for the past couple of seasons. Yao always struggles against them.
With that schedule, I would be more than satisfied with a 7-6 record ... I think they can do better, but I would not think any less of them if they could just end up above .500 for that stretch
The Rockets will win 19 or 20 in a row. I'm not sure if it's going to be 19 in a row or 20 in row. But it will be one of the two.
Can you imaging our rosters think. They will try to beat them all and now they have that confidence. They think we are in the top. look at their body language and the way they beat the Mav and Spurs and even lost to kings. I will say 9-4 as the worst. Go rockets. we are the team, we are the chpn.
There's only one team in the NBA that can come to Texas and beat all three teams and that team is SEATTLE.
I think he was making a reference to He Got Game...the movie where Ray Allen played the basketball superstar named Jesus.
There's no room for error. Memphis is on a 3-game winning streak and has tied us for the 6th spot in the West. We're 3 games behind the 5th spot now. gotta keep winning! -- droxford
Man i have to give credit to those Grizzlies. They have been injury plagued and they still have found a way to win. Gassol has been out for the past 6-7 games, as well as posey, and also others in their rotation but they just keep on winning. That last game we have against them will be very important so that we can keep the tie breaker advantage. The fact that they are a young team and went through a coaching chage during the season makes it even more impressive taht they were able to overcome their bad start.
