This game was all about Hakeem, but since there have been posts about Langhi's near dunks, I just had to throw this out there. It was nice to see Thunder Dan get the monkey off his back and throw down a nasty one before the end of the season. ------------------
I have a good feeling about this guy... ------------------ President of the Anal Retentive School for Jerks Hey, I wanted to be president of something, and I swear everyone took every other presidential position already.

I don't. It was an open court dunk for goodness sake. What is everyone so excited about? ------------------ ..as a man danced so the drums were beaten for him. Current Rocket's Salary & Contract Info
what a way to end the season! dan lanky, thunder dan, what ever you want to call him, the boy can play! give him another year in a summer league. look what it did for mooch and KT. ------------------
I kinda agree with davo. Before that thunder dunk at the very end of the game, I wasn't really impressed seeing him for the first time in person. He didn't rebound or defend much while he was out there (of course, noone else was playing much D either). And his shot was off and on. That said, I'm glad he got some significant minutes again. Hopefully the PT he got towards the end of the season will help him continue to improve and earn a larger role next year. ------------------ I'm about to boldly go where many men have gone before.
I think his nickname should be Lightning Dan. He is very agressive on the offensive boards. ------------------ "That's been a lifelong dream of mine." -Vince Carter, after laying it in on a breakaway, much to the Vancouver crowd's displeasure.
If you are looking for a clip of the dunk try NBA.com and go to the my highlights section, clikc on rockets v Twolves and then Langhi as your player, the DUNK is there. ------------------ "Repression never did me any harm (I finally ceased to include "stop masturbating" as one of my guilt ridden New Year's resolutions, but that's a different topic)." There was one play where Dan was fouled but no foul was called, but I hope for Lanky's sake he was flopping. Why? Because that's the first time I ever saw a 7-footer just bounce off somebody that was that much smaller than he was. I think it was a guard or sf that he bounced off of. If he can't drive on guys that size, those dunks are going to be few and far between unless on breakaways. ------------------ Yugo grills, Yugo mills, Check out the oil my Yugo spills...

While it was no confirmation of his talent or promise, I was so pumped about that dunk. I was yelling all game for Langhi to dunk it (since people keep saying he can really fly but I hadn't seen it yet). When it got under a minute, I told my wife, He's got one last possession to dunk it; and sure enough, the Rockets got the ball and Langhi took it in for the jam. I was going nuts cuz I called it. ------------------ RealGM Gafford Art Artisan Cakes
