What in the world is that joke of a city doing?

They just signed Calderon. Now they are about to sign Devin Harris. And they drafted Shane Larkin.

Jesus. I sure dont miss going through all that crap with our PFs

The Calderon deal was truly bizarre. Why aren't they preserving space for 2014? I guess Cuban is trying to get the team into the playoffs for Dirk's last couple years. Not sure I see it though.

    These are depression induced signings.

Cuban broke apart a championship team in order to land Deron and Howard yet has nothing to show for it in the last two years.

If this keeps up, I wont be surprised to see Rick Carlisle jump the ship soon.

PS. I wish I was there when the Mavs contingent met Dwight Howard this week. An episode of Shark Tank where Cuban was selling instead of buying and Dwight said, "Your product has no future"

This is absolutely the worst thing in the world the Mavericks could do to themselves after losing out on Dwight.

Now they will not have the cap space at all this season to acquire a max salary player at all unless someone falls in love with Shawn Marion's expiring contract.

They have done a terrible job at drafting high upside talent in recent years, and their star player is getting that much older.

Bringing in role players on multi-year deals is just about the worst thing you could do. Maybe Calderon to the right team, but Harris is not an asset any way you pitch it on a multi-year deal. Any team wanting him in a trade wants his contract to be expiring.

Oh well... good news for the Rockets... the mavs will really be stuck in mediocre to bad-ville the next few years until they finally go all-in on rebuilding.

It's obviously the classic David Kahn point guard hoarding strategy that was so effective for the T-Wolves.

Well, this isn't entirely true. Yao broke down around 09-10, so take those years away

Maybe Cuban is seeing the potential of Nash 2.0 in Calderon.

The mavs Will follow the cowboys path of clinging to a championship and remain forever irrelevant and delusional. The cowboys are going to the Super Bowl this year just like Cuban plans to sign Lebron in 2014... Haha

The big difference is the PFs we got were assets because they were young. It's easy to sell potential to other teams.

These dudes...these dudes are old vets that are what they are.

They are done. I live in Dallas and all everyone does on FB is talk down on Rocket fans or say their Mavs suck. Cuban knows he effed up big time and he's just signing people that may not actually fit the team.
