and if yao said rudy coddled him too much, what was he talking about? it couldn't have been the minutes he played. he pretty much played until he started huffing and puffing up the court. should he have just played til he collapsed. maybe he should've been in better shape (not that it's his fault with the chinese NT obligations and training methods) if he wanted more minutes. he wasn't up to it and thus was coddled as expected. and Live, without being sarcastic, did you mistype something b/c 20 shots to get 18 points would be pretty bad. especially considering his pps stats last year. if yao needs 20 shots to score 18 we're in trouble.
LOL Just add water? Idiot please. . . . McGrady has killer instinct. . as much as kobe but Kobe doesn't *HAVE* to carry his team for 48 minutes McGrady has to carry his team 48 minutes a night 82 games a year. As McGrady goes . . . Orlando goes As shaq goes. . .. the Lakers goes Sometimes Kobe takes up the slack for a shaq off night and vice versa You are a serious *sslicking d*ckriding fanboy Slurp on Kobe's nuts somewhere else kid Rocket River
What's wrong with this thread, it's a legitimate question, what are the expectations of Yao since some people feel he should be option number #1?
Oops, my bad! Let's try 12-15 attempts per game. But then again, if you add the subsequent FT attempts, I could see him averaging over 20 a game. But I still stand by the amount of touches Yao needs.
