As a diehard Rockets fan I obviously hate Karl Malone. His shenanigans over the years at Utah were worthy of hate and I have showered him with abhorrence since then. I hated his flopping. I hated his whining. I hated his skills and game. I hated his predictability. I hated his boy Stockton. I hated his fans. I hated his shtick. I….hated….him. When I watch him playing ball for the LA Lakers my disgust for him swells up to the point of physical illness. At least in Utah I could respect him. Now he’s just pathetic. Not his game...it is intact. Just the rest of him. It’s like he played for however many years doing the exact same thing over and over and he realized he was wrong. He then bailed on his fans for a ring. If the Lakers go on to win a ring and The Mailman retires I certainly won’t respect him as much as if he had called it quits as a Jazz. His one ring will not represent him or his career. He looks stupid playing in ‘Showtime’ for the Hollywood Lakers. He built this image up as an African-American redneck and that fit fine in Utah. Now he just looks stupid. He looks like Dennis Rodman doing a fishing show. I recognize that there are Malone fans out there that are as loyal to him as I am to Bullard but they simply have to feel cheated by him. There is a parallel here to Dream but it is different. When he went to play ball in the Arctic Wasteland up north he already had his ring and he won it playing his brand of basketball in the town that loved him. What do you think?
I agree 100%. You'd think a guy who has been in the playoffs for like 20 seasons would stop flopping out there. All he does anymore is shoot 20 foot jumpers, or barrel inside and toss the ball into the air with his arms flailing. Karl Malone is a joke and a disgrace to the game of basketball.

I agree 100%! He is my all time, most-hated player. He is a disgrace to the game the way he plays it...i predict he won't get a ring, because he just doesn't deserve one.
I hate him (but love him like a brother in Christ), but I hate him, I mean Really, Really HATE him. I laughed last night, while they were whipping our butts (not at that) and Mo slammed the ball and then bumped a laid out Karl Malone. Karl got up and ran over to the scorers table to the ref and then for a split second Staples got quiet and he yells "He did that **** on purpose!" for the camera man to hear. What a baby. Did I mention that I really, REALLY hate him!

Lakers have two guys I cannot stomach. Malone, and Karla Malone. I am rooting for anyone they play, starting -- and finishing (I hope) with the blessed Rox.
I cant stand that dirty flopper either.. I would love to see Spoon or MoT just knock his teeth out with their elbows to give him a taste of his own medicine! J
I was overjoyed when, midway through the first quarter, you could tell that he tweaked his bad ankle while flopping. He drove to the basket, and in typical fashion threw his legs out to either fake contact or kick the defender. Since this caused him to go slightly out of control, he landed badly and you could see him grimacing for several possessions. Pretty soon Malone will be too old and fragile to both flop and play basketball simultaneously. Next time I have a drink I will toast to the refs in this series who haven't called a single flop by Malone as a foul. Sad isn't it... I'm happy the refs did part of their job.
Just to give you more evidence why Karla is bad ash. During yesterday's game, there were at least twice when yao was posting up, Karka used his elbow on yao's rib. According to a chinese source in the post game interview Yao complained that that area still hurt after the game.
