I found this to be hilarious the first time I watched it when the show was still on ABC. So, point being. Have you ever experienced "the look"?
When I was 10 years old watching Comic Strip Live on Fox 26 waiting for SNL to come on, I thought Tim Allen was the funniest man in the world: even funnier than Gottfried's guest spots on Arsenio. But the millisecond I saw the cover for his book, then his show, I just grew to hate it. Even at 13 or 14, with no cable and watching TGIF and every other crap sitcom on TV, it just seemed predictable and simplistic. Allen himself is a funny and likable guy, but that whole schtick, pretty much the whole show, just got on my nerves.
