    Wow SlamBall looks sick!
However one of the biggest questions is population. I know data has said that we will shortly plateau at 10bill in 2025.

Or just that they're not commissioned officers, elected officials and will never, ever be in the royal family.

    1. I enjoy reading posts when you're high.

    2. I particularly enjoy the couplets above. At first, I thought: this list is bull----. They're really going out on a limb here.

But then I read it again. The whole thing likely is spot on, if only because I probably will be able to mind-meld with my IPhone before Mississippi allows lesbians to legally love one another. Yep. I'm on board.

(Better go ahead and sell my massive Blu-Ray collection. And I was told they'd be future-proofed!)

If the texting by thinking thing means people will think before they text -- then that's a pretty amazing advancement. I wonder if it applies to late at night or when drinking too???

If it means the text just goes out automatically without even the highly ineffective filter of having to hit the 'send' button -- we may as well just throw in the towel on civilization and relationships at any level beyond absolute chaos.

    Yep yep yep.

I'm almost positive this is why gay marriage will be adopted, but only AFTER mind texting filters all the way up to the politicians.

    Breakdown:

2020 -- Technophiles, and only technophiles, start mind-texting. Women everywhere become self-aware of their pointy elbows.

2021 -- D-bag hipsters adopt it. Getting into and out of the hot new bands, before the second chorus even starts.

2022 -- Student (mostly "BORED :(" student) protests topple governments, legitimizing thought texting as a social force. Who thought Neda?

2023 -- Then politicians, from both parties, catch on late the fad. Then this starts happening:

2024 -- Gay marriage is legal in every US state

Seems we've gone over the "Let Nature Take its Course" approach a LONG time ago. Full on ARTIFICIAL SELECTION!

Really every passing second is closer to some "BIG ONE". Supervolcanoes and asteroids can rip the planet up and cause human extinction. (Which is why the MARS developments are of interest :))

If you think of all the cool advances, you have to factor in all the devastating developments, too.

Just can't live that that, though. Too much weighing on the mind. Its why people DON'T think ahead. I used to BLAME people for shortsightedness, but really I can see why it'd be like that.

Do I get excited about the future? Not as much as I used to. The "Too much sugar for a dime" idiom makes a little sense there maybe...

Yes there is much MUCH WE STILL need to do in the world for progress. Life is too short, too many people still disadvantaged.

I just don't see we why have to keep "upstaging" the NOW so much. As though we have to exist SHAMEFULLY.

I also think in the future, EVERYONE'S gonna be a "douche". There won't be much need to work on character when everything is provided, so everyone can just let their "douche flag fly" with no repercussion.

It'll be a totally different world without "risk factor" involved.

I dont agree with the first one.
a lot of people really doesnt know how to use a computer, but they know how to use a phone, do you think in 2 years most of the people will stop using the phone?

and also where is the mention of a World War III, I think is going to be one before year 2300, maybe a WW III will be between religions, and thats why religions will fade from some cultures.

Just the thought of dd uploading his mind and cursing the rockets forever is scary enough. What year do the rockets get a championship?

Yung-T, a long time ago, before I really pulled my life together, I was a prostitute.

I got involved in a lot of dangerous things.

One of them was a nightly Russian Roulette game, and we thought it was fun. We were coked out of our minds. We drank a lot. I was the champ for a solid year. Did you ever see Deer Hunter with Christopher Walken? That's was me.

Still no legit way to increase penis size?! That should be at the top of the list. The 7-footers on 3000 don't have to deal with this problem.
