23.5 ppg 12 rpg 55% fg Hmmm, that's what he's posting in the last two starts in the Mavs series. Not bad....I have to admit, I didn't think he'd amount to much. I likened him to a Tractor Traylor type (well maybe not that bad)...overweight, soft hands, decent touch around the hoop. I stand corrected I guess. The game is about to start now, and Randolph is starting again. If he puts up another strong game, I'm a believer. And, I approve any possible trades involving Randolph to Houston. Scottie Pippen will not start tonite. Hehhehehhehheheeeee....
Zach is Mr. April.... Hmmm, that doesn't sound very tough. Oh, well. Let's just call him Mr. Playoff! He has shown up to play during the right time!
Arvydas Sabonis, two worthless knees and all, just drop stepped on Bradley and dunked. Man, I can't bear to watch Bradley play anymore. It's just so bad. His parents must be proud......... Deer Headlights Lost Bradley
Key: Shutdown Nash and Van Exel. They are the brains and the fire. Nowitzki has only 2 points. Heh...
If that's the real key, it's being done by the unlikely duo of Damon Stoudamire and Bonzi Wells (with a little help from Jeff McInnis). IMO, the real "trick" in stopping Dirk has been defending him with Rasheed Wallace. Wallace is very mobile, defends the PnR very hard, has length to bother the double teamed dribbler in the PnR and quickness to return to the screener after the PnR. I'm not sure how many other teams besides Dallas would allow Rasheed and Zac Randolph to both be on the court at the same time but kudos to Mo Cheeks for taking the risk.
But one of the things that I thought would happen at the start of the series was that the size, length, and athletic ability of the Blazers was going to clog up the middle. When the Blazers went down 0-3, I was like "What they hell!?!" But then the Blazers started playing D! I mean, with guys like Dale Davis, Rubin Paterson, Scott Pippen, A. Sabonis, Rasheed Wallace, and Bonzi Wells, they got some size and quickness to defend. Those are some BIG TREES with speed (except Sabonis, but even a redwood can just stand there! ). So, when Nash and Exel start driving and kicking, they have no opportunity to really "sell" the drive because there are these big Centers and Forwards just standing their. And, they are quick enough to keep the pressure on Nash. You watch. When the Mavs get desperate. They start chucking 3's! So, my plan would always be to limit Nash'es ability to "run the team." Limit his drives and dishes. And cut down his assists. I could care less if Nash goes one-on-one and starts doing a "Francis." that's what I want. But I don't like it when he's getting everyone involved!
Man, I can't bear to watch Bradley play anymore. It's just so bad. His parents must be proud......... Yeah, one of the ~400 or so best basketball players in the world, making a couple of million dollars a year. Parents must be pissed that he didn't amount to anything.
Ha it was true, the fact that the Mavericks defense is so horrid, that there is no way they can beat a good team when they have to play them 7 times. During the season they beat you in the games because the games were not in order like in the postseason. Now the mavs face the same opponents over and over. Teams are learning how to tear apart the mavs defense.
exactly...we're struggling in the middle/lower class watching our money spending on everything we do while Bradley is chilling with millions of dollars. He's set for the rest of his life after having "worked" maybe 10-15 years while the rest of us struggle till we're at least 60. We're making fun of him??? Okay...so we can make fun of how he looks...but i'm damn sure his parents are proud of his accomplishments.
Randolph is why they they are still young excuse doesn't sit well with a lot of Houstonians. Or TMac, or Kobe, or KG. They all slowly progressed and got better and better. The only exception to this rule may be J. Oneal, but even with him I remember articles and people around the league saying that he was going to be good and was slowly getting better. Eddie Griffin???
