In the childhood years or my life I idolized 2 men. Hakeem Olajuwon and my father. They inspired my with tireless work ethics and amazing abilities. I am a Houston Rocket fan because I grew up spending my time on the court outside mimicking the dream shake. Hakeem one symbolized everything proud about this organization. The Pride, the Constant quest for success. The heart. I have seen the whole fiasco this season and every article about Dream wanting out, makes me sadder and sadder. Because the man that was once my idol has become nothing more than a jealous star who can not accept the future. What once was my inspiration has become a joke. What we now see today. Is Hakeem Olajuwon. What we saw in previous years is something different, we saw "The Dream" The only thing I can do now is accept the future and my new idol. Stevie Franchise. I still love the Dream though, but for what he gave us a long time ago. I hope I don't remember what he is now. Because that is not the dream, The dream is long over.

Dude, the Dream is still alive and well. The Dream was more than just productivity, and loyalty. More than just thirty points, and a desire to win, Dream was about being completely out of his mind. He is out of his mind now, just like he always was, it's just now he's mad at the rockets. He was mad at the Rockets in 92'. Hakeem has thought one thing since he stepped into basketball, (in a think accent) "give me the ball, we must establish the post". I would be dissapointed in him if he changed now. Hakeem is actually proving to the be same man he always was. You're the one who's changed!! GOD BLESS HAKEEM THE DREAM OLAJUWON!!!
