That's the cologne I've worn for the past 20+ years. I've never found anything else that I liked better.
Z-14 was the first "real" cologne I ever bought... way the hell back in high school. I remember it being mediciny smelling. Of course then I moved on to what one of my Italian friends calls the cologne every Guido with gold chains in an IROC wears : Drakkar Noir. I think that was the men's cologne of the 80's.
Yeah my sister bought MJ for me a bunch of Christmas's ago but to be fair I've worn it a couple times when I knew she'd be there and always ended up getting compliments on it by other girls so... eh who knows. Can't be horrible! I think most girls prefer guys wearing cologne bc its good hygeine and it requires 3 seconds of effort. Of course I felt kind of silly because I'm so incredibly white and wearing Michael Jordan's cologne. Probably the most ethnic flavor I've had since that song Pimp Juice came out. Damn that song was catchy.
"I love to shop, at the duty free shop." I used to wear Polo Sport. I also liked Aqua Di Gio. I don't wear cologne much anymore though. Right now I have some Mambo for the few times I do wear it. I like it.
Actually, I like Boss better than Hugo. It's not as popular as Hugo, but as far as I can tell chicks dig it just as much if not more. codell, that's "more cologne than any man should ever wear" - Adam Sandler. and Manny, from a chick's perspective: Chicks dig guys that smell good just like guys dig chicks that smell good. Being clean and not smelling one way or the other is good, but smelling good is way better. And yes, we do notice it - hello! we're chicks! we dig good smelling stuff, be it candles or men! After you get dressed, a spray on the neck and maybe one on your chest/torso should do it just fine. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't be Mr. Way-too-much-cologne-wearer. It's kinda sick.
Curve is really good... I used Obsession for the longest time and Halston z-14 (Still have some)... I also use Lagerfield and CK One...
curve by itself isnt to great but... but combine the smell of ganja anfd curve and you have a winning combination really though
I first cologne I started using was Polo Sport. Then my sister gave me a bottle of Curve as a gift for christmas. She said it smelt great, and better than Polo Sport. So far the reactions to it have been great. Women do seem to like it a lot. A couple of times while I was at a party I had women come and sniff me to get a good whiff of it. They really liked it and asked what it was. (these were people I was just introduced to)
I love colognes ... and I have to wear some everyday, otherwise I feel like I've missed doing something important. Manny ... you'd asked how you wear it. I generally spray it 2-4 times on my hand (depending on how strong the cologne is) and then a little on the neck and then the rest on the shirt. If I'll be wearing a suit, then it goes on the coat. My favorites are: Very Valentino Zino Davidoff (seems it's pretty hard to come by in the US, but still popular in Europe) Polo (Green bottle) Fahrenheit Michael for Men by Michael Kors Azzaro
Most women actually prefer a male's natual musk. Cologne is pretty high school in my opinion, but I'll wear it at big meetings and formal events.
I recommend essential oils as an alternative to cologne. They smell nice and they're cheap, cheap, cheap. We're talking less than 5 bucks. You can't get them everywhere, though. I get my refills at the Ren Fest. Since they're a very concentrated scent, only a little dab is necessary. 1 bottle lasts me over a year -- used every day. Please don't choose patchouli, though, it's probably the most popular and I'm so sick of that smell.
