To add credibility to my original post, my real award choices: Best Poster: Will and heypartner, for different reasons Best Admin: Jeff Best Rookie: Finn* Post of the year: outlaw's "whos hotter" and heypartner's tirade "going down in flames" response to FABR Most improved: ? ------------------ EZLN
Best Poster: We all have our good days and our bad days. There are way too many quality posters to pick just one. Best Admin: Clutch - Although I thinks he's tied his own hands on his posting the last year or so. By that I mean, he's restricted what he wants to say, because of who he is. I'd rather see the old Clutch back who wasn't afraid to say anything to anyone. (And, I've gotten a little taste of that recently. ) Best rookie Poster: Dunno. Post of The Year: For it's impact "The Houston football name thread" that brought down the free use of member delete. I had a pretty good discussion going, but ended up losing my posts and my delete privilege. For it's honesty - outlaw's "announcement". MIP Most Improved Poster: I don't really keep tabs on this sort of stuff. But, if I had to give an answer, it'd be: TheFreak. ------------------ "I have a DREAM.........his name's Hakeem." DREAMer's Rocket Page
Best Poster- Jeff. SaveOurRockets.com was ingenius! Best Admin- Jeff. Look out he's sweeping the awards!!! I like Clutch's posts more and more too. Best rookie Poster- I should have worked harder! It looks like The Cat will win this. Post of The Year- popeye's Antoine Jamison thread. MIP Most Improved Poster- hey Im trying!!! ------------------ "Here's the kicker... it doesn't matter if you believe this or not because I'm sure you don't, but it already has created enough doubt and makes enough sense to make me and I'm sure anyone else wonder why in the world you would make such a narrow, closed-minded assumption that my Jesus Christ has suddenly become your cat." ***Clutch slays the religion basher known as DREAMer Rockets and Comets stayin' in Houston! Good work Softy, stay away from those full strength beers. ------------------ "It's incredible to see how he [Mobley] can beat his guy one-on-one every time. That is a tremendous talent. The combination of Steve and Cuttino, I think, is wonderful in the backcourt." --the Dream
No, you can come in the usual Superman Underoos. ------------------ -------------- Did you know? Derrick Chievous sucked. It's true. -- from the ClutchCity.net "Did You Know" sidebar
Dean Concedes Well Finn and Cat I officially concede defeat, now I might not of been in the race from the start but my running was based on principal. The principal that this must be more than a two party system. Votes may not have been numerous for us third party candidates but hopefully we made a statement to the public, and who knows maybe if the leading third party candidates were allowed into the debates this could of been a more exciting election? In closing I would like to thank all my supporters and opponents. ------------------ Ceo of the Walt Williams fan club. Web site coming soon atheistalliance.org
DoD -- thanks man. That's really cool of you. Although I must say I'm a little offended that you don't think I'm a jerk anymore . DREAMer -- Improved? If anything, I'm definitely worse than ever. I used to give nothing but solid basketball takes, now all I do is embarass myself on a daily basis with my blatant lack of political knowledge. Thanks though. R95 -- you know I love you. Now playing -- Motorhead, "No Remorse" ------------------ "It's a great idea. A girl's name for a guy and lots of theatrics. I wish I'd thought of that." --Alice Cooper discussing Marilyn Manson
Cheers Finn, see that ND-Cincinnati score? My Admin pick certainly wouldn't be me, commitments outside of this "job" have kept me enormously busy this year. Kagy, he says what the rest of the Admins may be afraid to say. Killer wit. Jeff, well... his work with SOR speaks on its own. One just can't say enough about the job he's done, and Rockets fans will be indebted to him for quite a while. Will, the eloquent one who usually persuades me to keep my head 'round these parts. I'll see something I want to comment on, and he'll have said it ten times better than I could have if you gave me a year. Hilariously understated sense of humor. Clutch, what needs to be said about this one too. He's tirelessly run this page for now a fifth Rockets season*. He's withstood cranky hosts and envious imitators while putting all this together. We've seen him get married and have a kid in this time as well... ... what started as his hobby has turned into about 2,000 people's obsession. *The fifth anniversary falls next August 'round the time of my wedding, but I think people should get together for that. And that's my say as far as the administrators. Best poster: Will, "EF Hutton". When he talks, people listen. Rookie Poster: The Cat, though he could use a cat tranquilizer every couple of posts, uh huh huh huh huh. There are other intelligent people out there with other opinions, you know. Post of the year: too hard to call, though Outlaw's coming out party was an outstanding post. MIP: HeyPartner - stopped his complaining about deleting threads and got back to posting. ------------------ The Badministrator
Saw it keeley Troy Murphy is awesome. Sure wish the Rockets could get him. ------------------ In order to be a success in life, you need 2 things: 1. Don't tell everything you know.
Not a bad UND-USC score, either, eh, Finn? BCS I think. If it's in Arizona, I'm there. ------------------ The Badministrator
Not bad at all. ND will be a powerhouse next year. 9-2 who would have thought? Bring on Virginia Tech and Micheal Vick ------------------ In order to be a success in life, you need 2 things: 1. Don't tell everything you know. [This message has been edited by BobFinn* (edited November 25, 2000).]
Keeley, I'm there too. I go to some bowl game every year, and seeing as how the Irish look to be headed to the Fiesta and my Horns look to be headed to the Holiday, I decided to go out West for Christmas for those two games and got my tickets a couple of weeks ago. Bob, I hope so too. Wouldn't be anything sweeter than to see Notre Dame and my Horns at the top of the polls next year. ------------------ President of the Jason Collier fan club!
