No way. Too much pork and shellfish in the buffet at the Bellagio. He needs to stay at a place in Vegas that has a nice steakhouse...maybe one that also serves lamb kabobs.:D

You can't be serious, right? What the hell difference does it make whether he's an All-American neighborhood guy? IS the assumption of innocence to be chucked out the window along with the rights to self-determination, and other fundamentals of our system because we are afraid? If so, what are we protecting? I guarantee you that dictatorships work better than democracies during a war...why don't we just go ahead and adopt one, if that has become our priority?

Careful, MacB. If you end up on an "FBI watchlist," (and the selection to this heinous list has no oversight), you apparently lose a lot of your rights. NJRocket might write a nasty note to the FBI about one of us! ;)

Ahh, yes, the Schaudenfreude Corollary to the Bush Doctrine.

"Stop laughing at me, I said stop laughing at me I said stop it, I really mean it"............bomb.

Lots of ordinary citizens in non-western countries were glad to see Goliath be taken down a few pegs. But that doesn't mean that we should invade them for it.

some slightly good news concerning the Bush doctorine. The quote I used in the beginning is not from the actual document, but something from his administration.

It's scary that anyone in his administration would think like that, but it's much more acceptable, to me at least, that it wasn't part of written policy procedure.
