Yes, Yao sucked this game. He played like a vagina. He looked as soft as wet Charmin. He got abused by Kendrick Perkins.

But it's just one game

yao SUCKED i was shocked he was getting his shot thrown and that dunk was just unbelievable i thought my eyes were playing tricks on me or something, yao hit the damn weight room and do some squats so you can get your vertical up to actually dunk the ball, stop relying on height as you see you height didn't work too good tonight

What's Yao's vertical??? 4 inches  I saw countless rebounds that he could've grabbed. He even missed a wide open dunk!! Golly he makes me wanna pull my hair out. Never really been a fan of his since day one. I got no heartburn trading him but that's never gonna happen.

Yao played horrible, I mean horrible. However, do we really need a thread everytime a player played horrible? He did dominate against Dallas not less than a week ago

Nicknaming after a bad night? Where was your "The Big Double-Double" thread for the first three games?

I'll bet the next time these two teams meet, Yao will be on a mission.

Rockets lost by 4 points against the defending world chapions. Without Battier, an very off night by Yao, and 1 dumb technical foul.

I think the Rockets are in great shape.

Yup. The coach should have had Hayes and Brooks in to finish the game off.

But you can't blame it all on Yao. Ron shot like crap, Rafer sucked again, the refs jobbed us in the first half, and the only reason we were even in the game was the spark from Brooks in the 2nd quarter.

The only quarter the Rockets shot above 40% (53%). Why was Rafer closing out the game again?

If you are even beginning to compare Yao to Bradley at all, you have absolutely no knowledge of basketball.

Yes, he played terribly tonight, but if anyone thinks the fourth game of the season can ever be a true statement game that is ridiculous. Last I checked we have the same record as the Celtics. No big deal.

We made a statement: That even when we're nowhere near our best, we can still compete with the best teams.

Would a win have been better? Of course. But I'm content with this game. A few less BS calls, or a few misses from Perkins and we win this one.

Well, he's had more energy to play more mins since he hasn't had to fight as hard down low on every possession and run around the court as much and all..

He's been injured. People don't realize that Yao STILL isn't at 100%. People give McGrady the "not healthy" pass - Yao should be treated the same.

Just hope he's ready come playoff time.

I'm not the 7'6" guy that has missed point blank dunks in multiple games now because I can't get off the floor.
