    Why? There ain't no DH in the NL. We've got Berkman, Bagwell, and Lamb to play first.

    Hell no. Too many first basemen as it is. If were gonna sign someone like that I would prefer we sign Sammy Sosa.

    He'll get more from an AL team to be their DH. And, as said above, we have a plethora of decent-hitting, minimal-fielding first baseman (and Frank Thomas is actually worse than minimal fielding, and has a history of being very injury prone).

    Of course, somebody will probably bring up the "Astros are racist" angle, and that will cause another big stir... thanks a lot Hank Aarron.

    Oh yes, do it, the best defensive OF of all time. With Bagwell at 1st, you have Berkman in CF, Thomas in LF and Lamb in RF. :rolleyes:
