Specifically the island of Eleuthera. Next May will be a significant birthday for my wife and I'm thinking of planning a trip to the Bahamas for two weeks. Never been before so any 411 would be much appreciated. Can a brother get some help?
(I in no way want to co-opt this thread from you mc mark...) Funny you should bring this up, but I'd also like to ask a question to anybody with bahamas experience. I'm planning a trip to the Bahamas in September, namely Grand Bahama Island, and suggestions would be appreciated.
Hey no prob Vik. I'm not set on Eleuthera. It's just the first place I saw looking on line. I'm totally open to any of the islands. So the more the merrier!

If oyu go to the Bahamas....don't go anywhere but the Atlantis...there is a part of it that is sort of kid friendly....and the other part is more for honeymoons, anniversaries etc...(thats the part u want)....but that place is unreal
Atlantis? Is that a hotel NJRocket? If so, no thanks! We like to rent houses in out of the way places when we go on vacation. Especially island vacations (much more conducive to skinny dipping) Hotels? "shudder"
NJ is correct, dont go anywhere but the Atlantis... That place is one of the most incredible hotels I have ever seen.
