Historically the Rocks have been a team that relied on one of two things: Hakeem in the post and three point shooting. When Hakeem left we went far too often to the three. I can't count the amount of games I've seen where when the Rocks start to get down, they start jacking up threes instead of banging down low and getting solid points. Many times they would bring it down the court and jack up a three with ten seconds still on the clock. It's killed us a lot in the past. Rudy lived by the three, but more often died by the three. Lets hope the new style in town will be dramatically different. More paint play & slashes, less shooting outside the arch!
