I like to cuss and all, not to mention I love the show Deadwood, but this is ridiculous. BTW, language NSFW.
I don't know. However, a buddy of mine watched some History Channel or A&E or one of those type shows about Deadwood. Apparently, it's freakishly accurate. I'm still on season one, halfway through the second to last episode. I absolutely love this series. Bullock and Al are two of the coolest television characters ever.
One of the best shows on TV right now. I've read that the producers are very concerned with accuracy and that they believe the language WAS as foul as it is on TV.
I'm 38 years old and Deadwood is the only TV show ever where I've watched every single episode since it's inception. Nothing else even came close. I love that show. Ian McShane HAS to get an emmy this year--most layered character ever. The language is pretty bad though--I think I'd be embarassed to watch it with my mom.
Man, that season finale was awesome! Homedude was spitting out his teeth while Bullock was laying into him. "There's a blood stain on your floor" I'm sure most of you who watch know that Dan is Mary's mentally challenged brother in There's Something About Mary.
Deadwood History vs Deadwood Holywood http://www.legendsofamerica.com/WE-DeadwoodHBO.html they say this about the cussing... anybody notice that the actor that is playing Francis Wolcott is the same actor that played Jack McCall (the one that shot Wild Bill) ?
