Everyone I'm sure is aware of St. Arnold's summer pils. But jic it tastes as much better than shiner grapefruit juice as it tastes over regular shiner imo. Pretty good. Summer beer, & my radio...
I have some St Arnolds Icon Green right now. It is better than Summer Pils, and miles above ruby red, my opinion of course...
Yeah that Summer Pils goes hard, maybe better than Bombshell. Still working-in the Ruby though. Love the hint of sour.
See, now that's the exact slice of beer-douchebaggery I disdain. The exclusivity & obscurity, that makes more of a difference than however much of a taste difference actually exists- & understand I don't doubt it's actually better (actually want to try it). It's what it turns you into, immediately after drinking it. Now tell me where to find it assholes.
Icon Green should be available most places soon, I think May 1. St. Arnold purposely made their Icon series non-limited and non-exclusive and thus less douchy.
yeah, I loved red. It was a great beer that you could drink a couple of, not so much with blue, for me at least. And I wasn't trying to be "douchey", I just don't want to get myself in trouble is all. It will be out soon enough...
What about the St. Arnolds Amber? Just bought a 6 pack tonight. Waiting til tomorrow night to crack 1 open. Is it worth of being a St. Arnolds product?
(googles st. arnold's icon series) Well I don't even see it under icon series (only listed two there?), or elsewhere on their site. Anyway thanks for the heads up, I'll have to look for it next month. BTW it's more complicated than being exclusive = douchy. For instance I even got a little bit mad just finding out there are "series" of st. arnolds at all, that kind of stuff. Oh well. I'm in too deep already, curious enough about what that one tastes like to fight another alcoholic in a grocery store over the last six pack, like moms & cabbage patch kids, or whatever the current toy that runs out at christmas is.
Its not on there yet, but here is some info http://beerpulse.com/2013/04/saint-arnold-icon-green-amarillo-hefe-makes-debut-on-may-1st/
Well forget about icon red. Idk it might have a higher % of alcohol, but hopefully green tastes better.
