Has anyone tried the Shiner Premium Beer?

Is that the same thing as Shiner Blonde, but just renamed?

I thought they used to have a non light version of Shiner Blonde, but I could be mistaken.

A bit odd that the picture of beer needed to include tissues and lotion...but I guess it's not the first time that combination has gone together.

I got these two in a family reunion 6 pack today. So yes, there is a Blonde and a light Blonde.

Shiner is good. One of the best cheap beers out there, and this is coming from someone who doesn't even like beer all that much.

Remember when you told everyone good beer couldn't be found in the entire state of Texas? Good times.

My favorite beer at the moment is Thirsty Goat Amber, from the Thirsty Planet Brewery in Austin TEXAS. Only place I've seen it is on tap at Hopdoddy in Austin. Hoping that the Spec's near my new place in Clear Lake will carry it.

I had an amazing beer in North Carolina that I'm pretty sure most of you have never heard of, so obviously Texas beers taste like diarrhea.

Man! They're quickly become my favorite here in Austin.

I was helping out with a shower strike fundraiser to get clean water in Africa. The fundraiser making it to its 2nd year, Thirsty Goat moved in as the main sponsor and hosted the kick off lunch at their brewery even making an exclusive "Kenya Beer" that tasted amazing.

    **Thirsty planet moved in..

If you're in Austin, I know they rock Thirsty Goat at The Tavern, Strange brew.. BD Rileys, Chupacabra dirty dog and The Ranch on 6th at least carries it. Doc's off congress every now and then.

Trying too hard for rep dude. A your mom joke probably would have pulled at least 1 rep point from a 15 year old rookie here.

No, but I do remember when I said "really good". Unfortunately doesn't have the higher end beers that can be found in other spots due to regional brewing.

It's funny, I get what you're trying to do, but I actually did have an amazing beer in South Carolina that would easily be my go-to beer of choice if they sold it here. It's from Holy City Brewing. Makes Bombshell Blonde taste like High Life.

Local craft is like plowing a neighbors daughter.

So close to home, so precious.
