    I am going to say texas since the texans have pretty much always sucked.

    lol. This is like asking someone up this way, "who's more popular, The Thunder, or OU?" They'd just look at you like you're crazy.

    It'll be a long, LONG, loooooong time before the Texans are even half as popular in the state as UT.

    Given the amount of Texas hate on this board, but maybe it is just vy hate. I figured the texans would have more votes.

    but Longhorn fandom isn't regulated to Houston.

    Also, Texas A&M has a lot of fans in this area, arguably more than the longhorns. go to San Antonio and Dallas, they are much more Longhorn towns

    Stupid poll. Texas football has been around since 1893...109 year head start on the Texans. I love the Texans and UT is my favorite college team to follow of schools I didn't go to (no, I'm not ashamed to say it. I'm a UT fan...so f***ing what?). But it's not even close who has the bigger following.

    Let me quantify that this way...

    In Austin, KEYE (the local CBS affiliate) shows as many or more Titans games than Texans games during the NFL regular season. It's not because there's a large contingent of Tennessee transplants here (probably more Pittsburgh than anything as far as out of state fans go).
