Wow, I retract what I said before. That comeback, on the road, no less, took some real heart. Hook 'em!
It certainly makes all these interesting late games more fun to watch. Oregon-ASU, Texas A&M-OU, Bama-LSU, etc.
What a comeback! I figured UT was probably dead at 21-0 but I thought anything could happen. I KNEW they were dead at 35-14. OSU must be feeling pretty bad after blowing that game. UT has been very lucky the last 2 weeks.
if texas just handed the ball to jamal charles more often, they would be fine on offense. stop taking him out of the game on 3rd downs and just randomly for no reason and give him 25 carries a game going up the field instead of sideways. the playcalling for texas has been absolutely pathetic but charles has saved them the last two games. and colt mccoy sucks. he was great last year but he has a weak arm and just hasn't been the same since his injury last year. he does make the occasional great play, but it's not a good thing that i'm scared the other team is going to score a touchdown every time i see him throw the ball.
greg davis needs to go. of course, he's needed to be fired for several years but mack brown just won't do it. if texas could just replace greg davis with major applewhite, i'd be happy.
What a game! HOOK 'EM Texas has a history of these come backs against OSU. They had a huge one back in 2005 (their championship season) with VY. They may not have played up to par so far this year, but a win is a win. Yes, they've had one bad loss, but that Oklahoma game was very winable for them. Unfortunately, things didn't go their way and and weren't able to pull it out. I understand the skepticism, but I think Mack is still a great coach and Colt is doing a good job.
Y'all need to lay off G. Davies. GD didn't overthrow Nate Jones. GD didn't loose the ball lafter a hit for an INT.
