Iwas putting two different parts, the tesla one was also related bc these texas republicans tout free market, then both were examples where they are pandering to one sort of donor group or another . Even tesla that moved here for less regulation now has to move their cars out of state to sell them back in why? bc our state legislators couldn't get it done and now are gone until 2023!

Then Ted Cruz who will also debate teh same things just flat out openly admitted they look the other way on massive coroporate fraud or needs that they won't do or would be quick to call people welfare babies on the other hand.

Both show these guys stand for nothing but their own power, the entire political climate after a few churnings seem to bring about the same

Cruz is so ridiculous with this comparison. I can think of much more important issues we need fixed in Texas than him tweeting BS propaganda.

How in the hell can he compare these two situations? He's so far up Trump's rump he's gonna need some of Watson's anus oil to wiggle his way out.

Abbott gets away from the criticism he should get because he is in a wheelchair - people feel sorry for him and give him a break.

He is a HORRIBLE Governor - just weak and millimouthed.

“Blood may be thicker than water, but apparently it’s not thicker than Kool-Aid.”
“Even if he calls your wife ugly. Mocks your dad. Puts a target on your brother’s back or rips your uncle,”

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel, Rep. Greg Pence (R-Ind.) and Senate Minority Leader
Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), aka Moscow Mitch / Turtle Face have all thrown their families/relatives under the bus in order to kiss Trump's ring.

    too,

iirc, Candidate Trump had mocked George P's mother as an illegal alien.

Weird to blame Ted Cruz when he works for the federal government in the legislative branch and it was a state government executive agency that made the request. Ted Cruz isn't even mentioned in the article.

He's an *******, that's why. He doesn't care who dies. Texas Republicans are killing Texans with their ignorance.

Makes me wonder what the demographics of those kids are.

If all the kids in ICUs were blonde, blue eyed, and a memorable PR disaster, I'm betting there'd be a larger scramble to do something sane.

20% of the Covid deaths in the US today were in Texas.

You won't hear that news from any of the Texas Republicans. Nope. They don't care.
