I'm going with either Strayhorn or Kinky. Mostly likely Stayhorn, because I don't know how much of a chance Kinky actually has, and I'd hate for this to be one of those things where the votes split between Strayhorn and Kinky cause Perry's re-election. The only thing I DON'T want is Rick Perry to continue as the governor of Texas. Does anyone have a real grasp on Kinky's chances to win?

Perry is a lock to win. >80% likelihood, according to the futures contracts, which admittedly are a thinly traded contract in this instance. The "field", which includes the Kinkster and one tough Grandma, are trading around 7% chance that either of them would win.
We're going to Madison high school, then to UT Austin, then back to Houston, then we're going to Nashville where we're gonna take back the Oilers....YEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! In all seriousness, I'm voting for Kinky because of his views on education.
LOL!! Grat job, man. Honestly, I'm not sure who I'll vote for. Probably Strayhorn, because she has the best shot at unseating Perry, IMO, and will be nasty enough in her campaign to tell it like it is regarding Perry's corruption, as well as having the $$ to do it. I like the Kinkster, a lot. I've met him a couple of times, read his mysteries, saw him with the Texas Jewboys several times, back in the day. If he looks like he has a chance of beating Perry, of course I'll vote for him, gladly. I'll be voting for the candidate most likely to have a chance of beating Perry come election day. Period. I'm damned angry that we don't have a run-off in the Governor's race. It gives these candidates a slim chance of beating Perry. Hopefully, enough votes are taken from the S.O.B. to let one of them defeat him. Keep D&D Civil.
interesting video from kinky... too bad he, or someone else wasn't elected. http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/VideoPlayer/videoPlayer.php?vidId=131332&catId=513 Kinky on his future March 27th, 2007 The former Texas gubernatorial candidate gives an update on life after politics and his prediction on the Republican presidential nomination.
