Since everyone is speculating about summer trades, signings, and the draft - who will work best in a Rocket's uni, etc. I think that the Rockets should go after Eric Meeks.

Why do so many people want the Rockets to get a 4? Sure, any help will do, but we have had so many 4's. Ever since the Rockets traded away Thorpe, there has been a craving for more 4's. Yes, even when Chuck was playing, people screamed, "More power forwards!" (I just realized how many times I had used "4" - so there, I changed it). We have too many. That is the problem. Quantity, not quality. I think instead of all of this power forward talk, we should go after a tall, fast, athletic small forward. Then we can rotate our power guys (cato, kenny, hakeem, carlos, pig, bullard-a joke, massenburg-another joke). Together they should provide enough rebounding, scoring, blocks, etc...

That is fine, nobody has to respond to my well-thought-out post. I have died in the forest and nobody cares...

too many syylabi in ur 1st word rimman!

nobody wants to read Terrestrial, much less click on it.

Anyways, I don kno much bout meeks. But i want a sf too. IF there is a real good quality big man though, itd be foolish not to go for it. But lets go for a good 3 instead of gambling on another Venson Hamilton or whatever. Please.

    Thank you for your caring

    Elie:
Meeks was a slow, crappy white guy that the Rockets drafted a few years back (I think out of Duke or some other big school with blue uni's). He was called a "banger" and would provide the Rockets with inside muscle. They shipped him off to Europe to develop - he probably averages about 0.3 ppg. I have inserted his name into about 4 posts recently and nobody has noticed, so I thought I would start my own thread with him in it to illustrate the obsession with drafting 4's (breathe).

    Crisco:
I see your point about terrestrial. I am glad you agree with me about a 3, I am just having a problem who they should really gun for...
