Ted Talks

I've checked a couple out and they are pretty interesting. I'm addicted to podcast these days and saw them on ITunes. My only problem is a personal one. A dude in my office listens to them and thats his thing right now, but he is annoying and is one of those people that feels he's smarter than his peers and we are below him. The plot twist comes when you realize in many respects, he's not that bright. It wouldn't be so bad if I had learned of this before he mentioned it, but alas I didn't.

A dumb reason not to learn, but for me it is a bit of a turnoff. I do plan to listen to some more of them though. The most memroable for me so far dealt with the use of robots in war. Reminded me a lot of Metal Gear Solid 4.

 

I love the Ted Talks. I heard admission to get into these events are near impossible and go for nearly $25,000 on the resale market.

yeah i have a few friends that watch these and have kind of tried to show them to me. i need to check some of them out.
