There's more than enough hatred and bitterness in the heart of the average Tea Partier for some to be directed at women who don't know their place as well.

    Is she a Dr.?

I doubt it, cause most women are dumb.

maybe she was off her meds because of the new health care plan. she was tired of the 3 month long wait for her presctiption.

She was taken to the hospital last night, and it was confirmed that she did have a concussion. Sorry doctor, but you your diagnosis based on that video was wrong.

    http://voices.washingtonpost.com/plum-line/2010/10/woman_attacked_by_rand_paul_su.html

You are also incorrect that she was unknown. As has already been shown, they knew who she was.

Please read the link and see what really happened, rather than make your amateur medical diagnosis and make excuses for the people that did this to her.

The actual facts in the case prove you wrong.

The sad part is this publicity stunt went better than moveon.org could have ever dreamed.

I think the sad part is that some moronic cavemen threw her to the ground and stomped her head giving her a concussion and spraining her arm.

That's a little more sad to me than moveon.org getting extra publicity.

The post is serious, but the poster shouldn't be taken seriously.

I diagnosed nothing based on the video. The article is linked said nothing about any serious medical issues. She was clear and bright-eyed after the event; most who suffer concussions can't manage that. Your link reports her saying that she has a concussion. I'd like to see a more credible source... although with HIPAA it's not likely.

From the courier-journal.com: "police called an ambulance but that Valle refused treatment and transportation to a Lexington hospital. Roberts said police are still looking for others involved."

Looking at the video it doesn't even look like her head was touched... but head-stomping does generate a buzz...

I did observe from the video that she was not really stomped on the head. He did put his boot on her head but exerted almost no pressure; the main effort there came on her upper back. Both are idiots.

Unknown? She was in disguise-- with a blond wig. Bad call on her part.

I've already said they over-reacted. Why do you continuously make excuses for her?

You really need a more legitimate hobby than speculating on my life.

I diagnosed nothing from youtube. I described what the video showed and I pointed out that someone was laying claim to a concussion but there was no verifiable evidence of it. the little evidence we saw was her bemused recounting of the event.

According to the local paper, she refused a ride to the hospital. She may have gone later, but all we have is her claim of a concussion (and someone reported it in a post long before that) and that her head was stomped. Nothing that would substantiate that claim has been posted except her self-report which conflicts with some of what the newspaper reported. Could she just be looking for further publicity.

The video shows virtually no head-stomping. She is pushed down on her should with his boot and then he nudged her head with his boot.

It's all stupid but it's not the "violence" you want it to be.

giddy, geez. should his boot be anywhere near her head? It is violent to be taken down, for one, and to have anyone's boot brought near said head for any reason other than coincidence is also well beyond the realm of non-violent behavior, unless it is performance art.

    Was this performance art?

I wish I had made my new bumpersticker after you used "nudged."
