See this is funny when i read that people have "given up" on a player who has just been injured. Rice I understand, he sucks on the court but MO T did not suck in the least bit and when he signed that contract about 1/5 the people were b****ing about it then as are now. Reminds me of what a sportscaster once said: he was talking about the Hall of Fame votes and how these obscure guys who have been retired for 20 years get more votes one year than before, They all of a sudden got a lot better in a matter of a year without playing. When u think about that example u realize why that happens but that’s not the point. Mo T was injured and he will be back playing like he was before. For those of you who thinks he will suck because of the injury well looks like Fransis will suck too because of his Major shoulder surgery. Besides no one is going to trade for him if they don’t know his status on the court, its to big of a risk for a trade. The people who say MO T was a mistake now should of been the ones saying it was a mistake signing him a year ago and CLEARLY that is not the case. He will be back and he will be as good as ever and everyone who is bashing him now is going to be on his bandwagon again.

    Ooooh...ooooh.

Taylor bashing, count me in !!!

The man can't play defense, plays with zero passion, and is one of the worst rebounders I have ever seen.

Why did the rockets sign him such a big deal last year? Was it a panic signing or what?

    I agree with BRANman

    While injuries and new defensive

    rules clearly played a part

    in the Rocket's poor season

    I don't think it was solely a

    coincidence that the team ran

    more efficiently last year when

    Taylor was the starting PF.

And I can clearly use the

    space bar and enter key.

It is solely a coincidence. KT played better at PF than Mo the year before. The problems were mainly at:

C: Cato + Dream vs Cato +Collier + Willis. Say what you want Dream had juice left, that's why Toronto forked out $18M to sign him.

SF: Shandon + Walt vs Rice+Walt+Langhi+Morris. There was zero continuity at the SF position this year. Walt and Rice sucked because of health, Morris sucked becuase of inexperience, Langhi sucked because he sucks.

PG: Fransis for full season healthy vs Fransis for part of season playing with pain and migraines

ok, think about that statement, "Worst Rebounder you have ever seen" so you honestly

believe that he is one of the worst rebounders in the NBA? That is the stupidest thing I

have ever heard. For a starter I grant you he is below average but saying he is the worst

in the NBA is r****ded. Maybe you don’t watch many games. Also you're greatly

exaggerating his defense. Try and remember the only bright season the Rocks have had

in the last 3 years where they narrowly missed the playoffs. HOW MANY TIMES DO

YOU REMEMBER b****ING ABOUT TAYLOR"S POOR DEFENSE. I bet none.

Taylor has played really well and he was the most athletic PF we have had in a long

while with a great shot. No one an answered my question. Where was all the Taylor

bashing before he tore his Achilles? WAIT! I forgot. It is not even about the money.

He's the worst player in NBA history. Where was the complaining when he was helping

us win 48 (think that’s right) games 2 years ago? IT wasn’t there. Maybe a few ppl, a

few but certainly not anywhere near what it has reached now. I am guessing that me

previous post was almost unreadable because things weren’t double spaced so enjoy.

Give him a break please. He is just coming off a very serious injury. He had worked very hard in the off season to better his game. We never got to see if his rebounding or Defensive game had improved. He signed with us for 1 million the first season- a deep discount. He could have gone elsewhere for more money.

He has been a consistent scorer and got us an early boost in games before getting in foul trouble. The quick foul trouble would suggest aggressive defense, and if he can develop this part of his game to stay in the game.........

He is very young at 25 or 26. he is not too old to contribute to this team.

He is not the financial liablity of Cato or Rice.

I do think we paid too much for his services.

This coming from the idiot who thinks that trading the #1 for Camby and #7 isn't a bad idea.

    Idiot.

O please NJRocket share your knowledge with the world. You want to call me a

"MAROON" which by the way is a color, I believe you were thinking of "Moron" wow

talk about ironic... Calling someone basically an idiot but spelling the word wrong.

What do you think you look like now NJRocket? But all of that aside I would like some

in depth commentary about MO T. al you have seemed to do is magnify an already

exaggerated statement. So you must REALLY REALLY believe he is the worst

rebounder in the NBA. Even with all those 3ed string guys on the 29 teams he is the

worst. Considering the fact that NJ is in the finals I would have thought that you watch

basketball games and could see the error in that statement and btw do you live in New

Jersey? If so how the hell can you comment about a guy you cant even see play, maybe

you moved afterward I don’t know, please share your knowledge NJRocket because I

would like to know exactly why I am a maroon, woops I mean moron.

I agree the Taylor bashing has gotten out of hand, but when we just had a very disappointing season everyone is bitter. People hate Cuttino, Steve, Moochie, Rudy, and everyone else. Most people whine in the summer and will whine when we lose, but when we win games everyone forgets people's faults.

Mo is a bad rebounder, but he is not the worst. He needs to work on it, but people won't give anyone a chance to improve. And zero passion??? I think that's a little blown up. No defense? Well let's just say it's average. How well do you all remember him playing? It was 2 seasons ago...I remember good things...I remember his career high, I remember him getting his usual 10 in the 1st quarter and disappearing. When he didn't however, he wasn't as horrible as you all make him out to be. Go back and watch a tape from back then. He is overpaid, but who isn't in the NBA. Look at people's contracts now, they're all ridiculous.

Cuttino is getting paid relatively little for his skill. Yes, he does need to work on defense, decision making, team ball. However, he is a very good player. Steve needs to cut down on turnovers, more assists, better decisions, but he also is a great player...Yes GREAT.

Will you all ever be happy? What do you all expect from these players? I know last season was brutal, but unless our star player is injured do you think we're going to be THAT bad? It seems like some people will never be satisfied. We could make the playoffs, but not get out of the first round. We could make the Western conference finals, but lose. We could make the finals and lose. The only things that would shut people up is if we won a championship. Be realistic, it can happen, but give it some time.

I guess I got off topic, but there's so much negativity. DO people watch Rockets games on here because they are supportive fans or because they want something to bicker about?

    oh really?

Of all the starting PF's..yes do

You're right...I really should pay more attention.

Ok, what they've done is develop a "dish" like apparatus (look it up) that is able to transmit long range satelitte frequencies. Low and behold, and I dont know where they came up with the name but, they called it a satellite dish.

I bet Hangout boy is so pumped that he decided to ride Brans coattails now.
